The Biblical Prophetic Babylon & Loud Cry

The Biblical Prophetic Babylon & Loud Cry (Jer 51 | Rev 17 & 18)

When one endeavors to study the prophetic topic of Revelation’s Babylon beyond what is commonly, truncatedly, presented and emphasized in SDA circles, namely Rev 17:1-9 & 18:1-8, it is transparently easy to see that much more than a religious aspect of Revelation’s Babylon is being taken issue with by God. This wider study involves, obviously, also studying the rest of Rev 17 & 18, (thus Rev 17:10-18 & 18:9-24). However a commonly neglected contributor to this study is the Old Testament background from which Revelation’s Babylon is drawn from.[1] As many, almost verbatim, quotations and allusions show, that, pointedly in the prophecy in Jer 51, God spoke of the vengeance that He would be taking upon His actually previously summoned king and kingdom of Babylon. Before the full and further prophetic issues in Rev 17 & 18 are discussed, and indeed in order to first have the proper Biblical background for that prophecy, the circumstances and (Theological) issues involved in the Jer 51 judgement of God need to be properly and fully understood.

Theological World View In Collision (Isa 5:20)

How To Get The “Fuller” Mark of the Beast (Rev 13:12-18)

In, manifestly, a sermon preached at the Australian, Victorian Conference Easter 2011 Campmeeting, the President of the General Conference’s Hope Channel, Brad Thorp “singularly” made the, (frankly-said),  typical brainwashed, mindlessly, preferentially differential, U.S. propagandized, and recognizedly, glibly understandable statement in reference to the then ongoing Battle for Libya that: ‘the uprising in Libya was a populous uprising for Freedom of self-determination’ (See in Hope Channel CD (HTV-CD-161/WVIC-C-F-141 (also here [Part 1]) at [04:27-05:10 & 08:34-09:19]. {Rest of that sermon: Part 2; Part 3; Part 4}). As common with such U.S. propaganda statements, they are fancifully devoid of the actual and observational facts at hand in order to mask the actual intention of the U.S.-dominated military involvement in that country. As with the False and thus Illegal Iraq War, this military action was really only done because of the crucially needed Libyan oil wealth. (These facts will be succinctly and summarily said here for reasons of time):

The Shaking in its Biblical Context

The Fuller View of the Shaking (Amos 1:1-{9:9}-9:15)

The eschatological topic in SDA circles of “The Shaking” is one that is copiously treated in the Spirit of Prophecy and indeed its clear meaning of ‘the sifting out of non-genuine Remnant Believers is well and rightly understood.’ However a most significant and determining aspect of this Biblical subject, which is explicitly based on Amos 9:9.[1] Like any statement made in the SOP, and as modelled in the symbolism in the book and prophecies of Revelation, the exact and full meaning of such a Divinely directed statement is only arrived at when the Biblical context of that statement is exegetically examined.

A World of "Morons"

A World of “Morons” (Jer 1:5b, 10; 25:15-29ff; 46-51; 52 & Dan 11:41)

“Moronisms” That Shape Our Age.

A recent comment in this blog post literally started to make my cup overflow in regards to the various ongoing temporal and spiritual dealings with various people, including this Theological Views blog and its related NJK Project. Reading the Scriptural context in which Jesus Christ rebukedly used the self-proscribed (Matt 5:22[1]) term “moron” (Greek moros [Strongs #3474]) in Matt 23:16-17, and also the way that it is used in the OT Septuagint (LXX), is quite determinative as to its true characterizing meaning, as seen here:

SDA Statement: “...the Bible says that we are the salt of the earth, it also calls us the light of the world, but unfortunately many times the world is salting us more than we are salting it. And I'll give you this illustration: let's pretend like someone who does not believe in the Bible, or doesn't follow the Bible's guidance in his everyday living, wants to buy or build a house, how's he going to do it if he doesn't have the money? Well, he'll go to the bank and become qualified and get a loan. Unless he tells the banker different, the loan will be for 30 years. That's the typical thing in the US, but let's just say that a Christian, Bible believer, decides he wants to buy or build a house, he doesn't have the cash to pay for it, so he goes to get a loan, what will he do?
Well, the interesting thing is unfortunately the Christian will do almost exactly the thing that the non-Christian does, and that's get a 30-year mortgage, without a second thought actually, in spite of the fact that the Bible indicates we should not be in debt longer than...you know, don't you?
