The Typological “Second Coming” (Rev 19:11-16, 17-18, 19-21)

God’s Sequitur, and/or Alternative, “Second Coming” & Millennial Geo-Resetting Event (=Rev 3:3; 14:1-5ff; 20:1-4ff)

            In Rev 19:1-10, the results of the effectuated judgement on Babylon are related, as well as an indicative time as to when, -in actually the plagues, contrary to wished expectations (Rev 22:11). As seen in the Revelation Charting here, Rev 19:1-10 serves as an anticipative, introductory vision passage which sets the context of what takes place in the rest of that prophetic segment.

Rev 19:1 - After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, "Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God;

great multitude in heaven - This great multitude are those who, through this Loud Cry Call out of Babylon have responded to this work of the priorly sealed 144,000 (Rev 7:9-17). Indeed many of the same themes expressed there are restated here in Rev 19:1-10.

The Battle of Har-/Ar- Mageddon (Rev 13:12-18; 16:16)

            ......So upon the present Super-Power/Empire (the U.S.) hearing of, as expounded in this dedicated post on Daniel 2, God’s Plans to replace it in the World Hegemony with His own Super-Power Kingdom (=Dan 2:34-35, 44-45) for His Temporal Jubilee Millennium, they, most “naturally” (i.e carnally 1 Cor 2:6-16), will be taking decisions and actions to oppose and even war against this looming overtaking. (=LDE 210.1)....And so, typologically enough, they will then engage in doing exactly like the King of, indeed fittingly enough, Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, did when God had revealed by that Dan 2 Dream’s Statue that His Kingdom and World Hegemony, represented by the “head of gold”, would eventually come to an end and be replaced by another Power (See PK 512.1ff): Just as Nebuchadnezzar/Babylon decided, and against clear revelations, to fight God by defyingly building a “statue” (LXX Greek = eikon) just like in his dream made entirely of gold and forcing everyone under the realm of his authority to worship it at the penalty of a fiery death (Dan 3; cf. 7BC 976.7-9|Mar 214), the U.S. will endeavor to preserve its present (effective) World Empire/Hegemony by: ‘making an “image” (NT Greek = eikon) to the First Beast and causing everyone to worship it at the pains of death [even, as “signified”, by fire (cf. Rev 13:13-15)]’.

            Before delving into how exactly the Second (Land) Beast of Rev 13:11-18 will go about to do this self-preserving and defying act, as it will be squarely relying upon what the First (Sea) Beast of Rev 13:1-10 had done, it is important to first see what it is that this First Beast had actually “exemplary” done which the Second Beast deemed to be worthy of repeating for/in these times [As a general note, any reference in here to the verses in Rev 17 & 18 can be further examined by looking up those verses in this dedicated post on these Chapters]:

God's Deliverance (Ezek 1 & 10)

God's Deliverance: Order/Organization (Ezek 1), Power (Ezek 10) & Timing (cf. Ezek 43)

            In prior postings in this “Theological Views” Blog, the Bible’s and SOP’s promise and delineation of the evidence that God has plans to ‘Deliver His Faithful People’ (GC 635ff = Rev 16:10ff -discussed in here). The “Power” (see e.g. in this post) and “Timing” (see e.g. here), as well as both of them combined (see e.g. here), have indeed been presented throughout this Blog. But the Bible and SOP also reveals that God has a very deliberate “Order” (=Organization), and that in seeming chaos and disarray, which He will also keyly involve in this Deliverance event and process. By now, not really surprising to me, this understanding is merely a confirmation of what had long been pursued, indeed essentially from the very beginning of, this Biblical research and tangible projects work, culminating in the launching of its NJK Project (ca. 2003ff).

            The Biblical exposition and understanding of Ezek 10 is the pivotal passage is what presents/confirms this “Order” aspect in God’s plans here, and as also seen with many passages, this is an understanding that EGW also somewhat nebulously had through manifestly various SOP revelations that she may not have “fully” understood.

                                                                                               

The Prophecy of Daniel 2 (Dan 2:31-45)

The Prophecy of (First) World Hegemony & the Final, Temporal, Super-Power, Kingdom of God (Dan 2:34-35, 44-45)

The Prophecy of Daniel 2 is patently, and with good reason, used as an introductory and

foundational study about the Bible and Bible Prophecy, as it reveals that the Bible is a Supernaturally inspired book which accurately predicts the future. But of course not everyone, namely non-Bible Believers (see e.g. pertinently here), have that view. The purpose of this blog post is to present the evidence for this understanding belief of Bible believers from this “springboarding” prophecy, but, as it was done earlier with the also popular and strongly evidencing 70 Weeks Prophecy, the presentation here will be done by a necessary more in depth, even correcting, study: Exegetically, Theologically and also Historically, of this key prophecy than what is typically done.[1] But before getting into the verse by verse exposition, a couple of key foundational points first need to be made.

Date of Prophecy - DSS & Carbon Dating

Succinctly state here the date of the prophecy of Daniel 2, (which predicts events from ca.

605 B.C. through A.D. Medieval World/Church History, through today) is scientifically/factually known, through the carbon dating of Dead Sea Scrolls which include it, (namely: 1QDan^a & 4QDan^a) to have been written/copied by around the 1st centuries B.C./A.D.  (Cf. here & here).

As it seen in the post on “The Worldview of Unbelievers”, I had begun to includingly address and respond to also the anti-God/Bible/Christianity claims made by people at The Young Turks Network but is soon became self-evident that they claims were patently disingenuous, and mainly by being/remaining deliberately idiotic about what the Bible actually says, and so responding to them only became a time consuming exercise in “whack-a-moron”. So I instead jotted responses to them in a separate offline document, which also didn’t have to involve the referencing of what they had said (i.e. links to the (Youtube) clips where they make their stupid claims. The following post is an online “dump” of that private document because at some time, you do have to show “fools” how foolish they are...

Responses to Common Objections and Claims of Unbelievers (2 Tim 2:15)

           

            It is patent for unbelievers to rattle off a listing of various objections to the Bible as the foundational/substantive reason why they do not believe in either its inspiration or even, the “moral beneficiality” of the Bible.  As seen in the title of the main website (old website) being responded to here, they come to conclude that the Bible is/must be “evil”. (See also in this post).

            Upon just reading through the listing of claims on that website, it seems evident to me, that the author(s) of these claims may have had some Christian background and later, upon “discovering”, these (supposed) errors/contradictions/“evils” switched to their current stance. Whatever the case, it is still pertinent that literally all of these claims are borne out of deficient, uninformed, or outright erroneous exegesis and theology. The ironic thing is that many believers also see the same errors but just silently overlook them, as if the Bible and its message does not contain the resolving answer. And to a point, that also is not an acceptable approach, because, for one thing, it does breed and perpetuate in some such vehement opposition to the Bible.
