The Heretically Spurious, “Omega” Three Angels’ Messages

Appreciating God’s Three Angels' Message Truth (Rev 14:6-12) from Satan’s Sly “Omega” Counterfeit

Succinctly, introductorily said, the following is, as it was announced here, a thorough

critique of Eugene Shubert claimed ‘New Three Angel’s Message’ understanding. Straightly said, his fundamental flaw is that, pointedly by the Third Angel’s Message, has variously and even completely rejected the waymark understandings for these messages as found in proper prophetic Bible study and ratified by God through the SOP. Shubert spins a seemingly plausible view, but that is all because it is derived from mere surface claims and understandings. His view is both exegetically and Spiritually neither rooted in, nor built upon, the “Word of God”. (John 1:1ff; Luke 6:46-49). So, like the Babylon that he thus parallels, even actually enjoins, “great is its fall” indeed!!

            What Shubert has managed to “epitomically” do through all of this is fulfill the dream given by God to him that he had/would come to have a view like the one which had started the “Alpha” apostasy in Adventism, John Harvey Kellogg, who himself arrived at that heretical end by choosing to remove the waymark teachings of the Remnant Church that he thought weren’t valid. Thus Shubert has, through his own views, indeed likewise presented a part of what is to also fuel the “Omega” apostasy. (Contra. (e.g.): 2SM 111.3; PH020 14.2; RH, May 25, 1905 par. 28; NYI, February 7, 1906 par. 4)

            Shubert’s deluded waywardness has demonstrated that he indeed keyly cannot make the difference “between the vile and the precious”!! (EW 263-266)

The Three Angels' Messages Versus The Three Demons' Messages

as interpreted by Eugene Shubert

According to the last book of the New Testament there are three powerful endtime messages, which are represented symbolically as being proclaimed with a loud voice by three angels flying in midheaven (Revelation 14:6-12).

-While it may seem to the passive reader as mere prophetic “dicta”, the Bible actually

only says that the First and Third Angels’s messages are, (as indeed specifically distinguished in the underlying Greek text), given in a “loud voice”(Rev 14:7, 9), the Second Angel’s message isn’t (Rev 14:8a). It is actually only in the Latter Rain proclamation of the Fourth Angel’s Message, that a ‘loud’ voice to a similar related message to/about pointedly “Babylon” is then so given, but in a “mighty voice” (i.e. more demonstrably “authoritative”(Rev 18:1) & powerful (LDE 186.4), than merely vocally “loud”) (Rev 18:2a), particularly as it pointedly is: “the loud cry of the Third Angel’s Message” (LDE 186.5).

            That therefore inherently substantively involves, as stated in Rev 13:12, 14ff, that there then will be a “coalition” of the evils which were warned against by the Second and Third Angels, -all within the context of the First Angel’s Message.

Immediately after the preaching of these three startling messages, which are later powerfully validated by another angel and a voice from heaven (Revelation 18:1-8), there will then be an unimaginably great harvest of both good and evil (Revelation 14:14-20).

            -(That Final Harvest currently has much more temporal implication, actually involving what God’s Church Triumphant will judgingly themselves do then, than what Shubert evidently understands. See Isa 63:1-6 from which this passage is also based)

The purpose of this lecture is to disclose the quintessence of what shall fulfill this daring prophecy and to officially begin enlightening the world with the awesome heaven-sent truth that must be heard just before the world ends.

-The “quintessence” right? The “purest and most concentrated essence of something”

and/or the “most typical example or representative of a type”. But this is of course not merely dichotomically limited to ‘applications’ i.e., to “what shall fulfill this daring prophecy...” but also to what is also/actually the “quintessence” to God Himself. Meaning, what Shubert is going to claim as the “quintessence” of the 3AM has to also be, right back to its Theological and Spiritual what God Himself utterly, =“wrathfully” abhors for, as the Third Angel (Rev 14:9-11; cf. Rev 16:19) ‘most fearfully and solemnly’ warns of (EW 254.1; 256.1; 1T 223.2) God will indeed “mercilessly” judge and punish those who have ascribed to these ways which completely and totally oppose all that He is and stands for (cf. 1 John 4:8, 16; GC 678.3). So if Shubert’s claim of “quintessence” falls short of being rooted in who God fully is all about, then it is, as I have been repeatedly pointing out to him, not complete and not reflective of Christ’s Full Righteousness.

            The fact is, having already, prior to these writing out, Biblically analyzed this presentation here of Shubert’s his “quintessence” both, in certain part, “falls short” as it merely harkens back to man’s view of “freedom” which is heralded as Pure/True/Full Democracy, and in other part it is “incomplete” as it, interestingly enough, only focuses of “wrongs” which are not out of democratic choices and will. I.e. if the corporation-government, especially through its (so-viewed and called) “demonic” pawns, “impose” something harmful on people then in Shubert’s view, that is utter evil...but, as implied from a complete silence in regards to these other things, if the people themselves “freely”/democratically choose to do something which is harmful or evil, either to themselves or even, effectively, to/towards others, then that is acceptable...indeed as his silence against such things loudly, tacitly accepts.

            So, as the full/actual Biblical evidence will clearly demonstrate, Shubert’s interpretation of the 3AM is surely not “the complete gospel”. And therein lies the greatest danger of deception because, as with any false message, Shubert’s message appears, especially surfacely, to be quite plausible, even true. But when investigated by the Greater Lights of the Bible and SOP, its holes, deficiencies, rottenness, corruptions, perversions and also diversions are all clearly seen and it thus is can actually understood to be much more than merely a “false message” (as it can be benignly understood), but a heresy, i.e., (“a belief that rejects the orthodox tenets of a [God’s] religion”). Indeed Shubert certainly does/has fundamentally “reject(ed)” many such tenets in the Bible, the SOP, and Biblical Seventh-day Adventism to present this Third Scenario View of his.

The task of preaching the complete gospel of the three angels' messages and all its manifold implications will not be easy. Revelation 14:12 says it takes courage to do this.

            -While a true observation in itself, and Rev 14:13 actually also speaks to what awaits those who will truly proclaim the actual Full Gospel message here, [with Rev 14:13 encouragingly also indicating that the work of these True Proclaimers will not be in vain even if they should themselves not see it to its completion], it is most telling to me, that, with Shubert claiming that the work of his “Three Demons” is currently at work, that most of the world already has taken a side on these issues, almost, as it will be later on seen, in a 50/50 way in all of his ‘masterful delusions’ issues, which to me is the tipping off sign that these are not actual “Spiritual/Theological” issues that ‘really irritate God himself’, but merely National and/or International Political and Societal polemics that, as most objectively seen in their final/ultimate/“played out” affectations, have/had no basis in Biblical matters, nor any pivotal implication in initiating and sustaining issues in, and resolution of, the ‘Great Controversy between Christ and Satan’ (see e.g., DA 20.1-21.3).

My inoffensive free-speech contribution shall be in revealing the proper context. The context of this gospel is to be viewed as God's response to the rapidly intensifying delusions that are bewitching men of power and influence to fight against Jesus Christ and His true followers (Revelation 19:11-21).

-An error here may seem benign, but it not only is not, but is also reflective of the

arbitrary exegesis and hermeneutics of Shubert. I.e., he quite frequently eisegetically chooses for fulfillments whatever merely surfacely “matches up” with his preconceived suppositions without involving proper, or any, substantiating exegesis and hermeneutics. And the most deceptive usage of this “unscientific approach” is that it is mixed into things which of themselves are distinctly plausible, even true in certain ways.

            That would be like having a collection of 50 gold coins and the claiming that a gold foiled wrapped chocolate “coin” should also belong to that grouping. Due to the “weight” of the other coins one would be tempted to overlook this and accept that “spurious” “coin”, thinking that it surely cannot affect the value of the other things... but it does because a trusting other person may, without a careful examination of themselves, think that you have given them 50 gold coins worth $1000 each, but that is not the case.

            So here Shubert claims that in Rev 19:11-21 Jesus Christ is arriving to fight with “His true followers”, but the text actually says that these “followers”, of actually ‘a publicly named-concealed one’ (Rev 19:12) (and also who merely has the ‘character’ (=name) on his robe and thigh of “King of Kings, and Lord of Lords” (Rev 19:16)) and come from “heaven” (Rev 19:11), are soldiers in “armies”. Of course, as Shubert himself also does, this is commonly assumed to be strictly/only referring to Jesus, but if that is his view, then those “followers” can’t but strictly/only be the angelic host of heaven and not people (merely) on earth.

            So that singular claim is quite pivotal, if strictly/properly exegetically viewed, as it is to only be done, (-and any derived Spiritual understanding here will not contradict, but actually fully-fill, that letter of the law/text (cf. Matt 5:17-19ff), -but actually gives/allows for life/mercy, i.e. another chance (=2 Cor 3:6-9)), it cannot be claimed to be speaking of people who merely are/have only been on Earth, moreover literally warring against those who oppose Christ, and furthermore led by Christ Himself, since they all first must have ‘come down from heaven’. These masterful delusions are in the world today:

"And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty" (Revelation 16:13-14).

-Here again is another instance of Shubert subjective and fanciful eisegesis. He claims

that the three unclean spirits of Rev 16:13-14 are “in the world today”. However, proper exegesis has it that this is only what begins to occur during the outpouring of the 6^th Plague. The SOP itself is clear that the 7 last plagues do not begin to fall until Christ’s work in the Heavenly Sanctuary is done and the probation of men has been irrevocably closed. So that is all to transpire after the Final Warning has been fully given, thus after the Three Angel’s Message echoed in the Loud Cry has both been given and also done its work. (See e.g., EW 279.1-282.1)

            And though the word “coming” in Rev 16:13 is indeed not in the original text, and thus in italics, it does not involve, as Shubert manifestly supposes/imposes, that these Spirits have/had actually priorly  gone forth into the world. Indeed, in keeping to other related prophetic revelation in 2 Thess 2:9-11, it is seen that by then God’s wrath has already begun to be poured out on those who have indifferently and/or resolutely oppose True Righteousness, and in order to then coalesce these into one unified camp (=Rev 16:14b-16; 17:13-14), God will only then allow this supernatural manifestation to be unleashed upon them. To the uninitiated reader, in regards to the present Full/Eschatological fulfillment of Bible prophecies, (see this post), such a gathering “facilitated:” by God’s allowance can seem to be completely pointless if it is only to begin after probation has closed, particularly if these assembled ones are going, through this, to fight the Battle of H/Ar-Mageddon against God’s saints/armies (=Rev 16:14b-16; 17:13-14; 19:11-16) but in this present Biblical Eschatological Wave of fulfillment, which is to be in the wider context of God establishing a typological, ultimate-witnessing kingdom on this very Earth “in the days of these kings” (Dan 2:34-35, 44 - discussed here) in order to bring about a period of prophetic Jubilee (EW 286.1), such prophetic issues are perfectly understood in the light of the typological, spiritual applications that they will have, prior to a future literal fulfillment, if actually (still) needed then. (=the Jer 18:1-10 conditionality principle).

            Again, what was presented in details to EGW as “Final Event” was really God (Emergency) Plan B. His greatly desired Plan A, which is also incorporated in the book of Revelation, has always ideally been for the temporal triumph of His Kingdom of Israel right in the very midst of surrounding pagan nations, to all most tangible, rebuke, shame and enlighten these non-believers. (= Matt 24:14; Rev 21:24-27; Isa 66:18-24). Hence the deliberate, tangible, mandated endeavor of the NJK Project.

            So as I have not seen such Prophetic “Spiritual/Typological” understanding in how Shubert thinks these prophecies will/are to be fulfilled, but rather a, especially for his “Final Scenario, “one, all-or-nothing-at-all, shot” view, him pulling Rev 16:13-14 pointed effectuation out of its “scheduled” context to be already effectuated prior to probation having closed, is indeed subjective and fanciful, even whimsical and also eisegetical as it is his own notions of what is to be fulfilled that are determining what the hermeneutics and understanding of that passage should be.

The dragon is Satan. "And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him" (Revelation 12:9).

-Here again is revealed Shubert’s “unscientific” (=non-hermeneutical) ways. As stated

before, he has not addressed the issue of his claimed strictly-post-1844, Third/Final Scenario actually started in the First Century A.D. And though he is here merely trying to Biblically define who the dragon is, that section itself is actually entire sinking his overall view. To me when someone can’t or won’t even begin to respond to such discrediting issues, it just shows that their view is not one that is exegetically borne from the Bible, but converse, eisegetically “imposed” into the Bible with then only parts that seem to corroborate it being allowed to be attached to it. That is the classic approach for “substantiating” a false teaching as this is only what can be done to give it any plausibility.

The reference to the three unclean spirits being like frogs means that these are deceiving spirits. Frogs catch their prey with their tongues. I shall refer to their messages as the first, second and third demon's message, respectively.

-That “frog’s tongue” claim is quite popular in this interpretation, and surfacely

acceptable, but as present here in Rev 16:13-14 at the Sixth Plague Section, there is actually much more that is contained in that frog symbolism. To succinctly recap here, it is a counterfeit, and now paganistic (versus Christian) religion that is begun to be jointly proclaimed by/through these projected unclean spirits, and that is a message that is appealing to all of the world and thus successful in united the world in that Final, Eight Head-King~dom|Mountain, Babylon Beast New World Order (=Rev 17; see this post.) This pending entrapment is what God’s people will have been, through the Loud Cry, called out from and before that overmastering delusion begins to supernaturally manifest itself. (Rev 18:1-5ff).

            So it is exegetically incorrect for Shubert’s view to claim that God’s true followers are now preaching against a supernatural manifestation of the messages that oppose God. Those ‘unclean spirits as frog’ have not yet manifested themselves. What God’s people are actually warring against are prior to that supernatural development are the, merely ‘imprisoned’ (=stored up) “unclean spirits and birds” of Babylon (Rev 18:2) which have actually yet to be unleashed...and when the are during the later Sixth Plague, it will keyly, differently, “pagan-religiously” be as “frogs” instead of those “hateful” birds, all being fulfilled in the Eighth Head Beast being on which instead “religiously” encourages what seeming “loving” practices but which actually worshipfully are permitted to stray away from God’s ideal, as the “creature/creation” (=the “frog”, a key god of “Egyptians”/worldings) is instead deified. (cf. Rom 1:18-19, 21-23, 24-25; 26ff)

Continuing further requires a keen hermeneutic. My system of interpretation is based on two axioms:

-Though Shubert assume his “axioms” to be unimpeachable, in also claiming that they are

to be strictly linearly/“respectively” applied, they therefore can be impeached if the Bible proves them wrong. There is no such thing as an axiom in itself in Bible study. “Axiomic Truth” is only what the Bible/SOP actually, exegetically support (=Isa 8:20).

1). The dragon, beast and false prophet are the powers that have been most greatly deceived by the three temptations described in Matthew 4:1-11, respectively, and these powers are exquisitely typecast by these temptations.

-So Shubert chooses Matt 4:1-11 as the template, ‘borne out of “keen hermeneutics”’, for

the three parts involved in that first axiom. What about the template of Luke 4:1-13, which he later also cites. I do not see that he has addressed, let alone resolved the fact that Matthew has a 1-2-3 order for the temptations, but Luke a 1-3-2 order. So which one is it. If Shubert is even aware of that issue, then he manifestly has opted from Matthew’s account/order, but how, and why?? Would it merely be his prophetic beliefs which resolve such distinct textual issues, or is it to be proper exegesis, as done here.

            Summarily stated here, that exegetical resolving of that seeming erroneous discrepancy reveals that there were 4 temptations attempts with Matthew’s second being repeated as Luke’s Third and Luke’s instance being actually that fourth temptation. At this point, I would say that Shubert’s distinct observation that those Wilderness Temptations are similar to the issues involved in the Three Angels’ messages passes a Biblical/Spiritual verification, but it Spiritually goes much deeper than what he goes on to present below as substantiation. Again, and like, pertinently enough, e.g, the Sabbath vs. Sunday issue, portions of Shubert teachings may in themselves be valid, but it even if they are, it is their deficiency in fully and properly addressing the actual GC issues at hand which are the error. I.e., Within the parameter of Shubert’s prophetic scenario, they, and artificially so, do not actually go all the way back to God, interestingly enough, as revealed in his Chomsky dream, at best really only ending in/with human limitations.

            So while I do see that 3 Temptation = 3AM correlation, (I mean, if it was optimal enough to attempt on the sinless Christ Himself, then why would Satan not also attempt a more sophisticated version of these Temptations on the rest of the fallen world), I’ll actually exegetically add here that the heightened repetition of the 2 temptation in Matt as a Fourth in Luke’s account, Spiritually parallels the repetition that occurs in the 2AM (Rev 14:8) inclusively in the “4AM”, the Loud Cry (Rev 18:1-4). The details of why this parallel, and my added understanding, is valid will be given in their distinct discussions below.

2). The three angels' messages (Revelation 14:14-20) are an antithesis to the three demons' messages, respectively.

-Again Biblical Exegesis, unequivocally supported by the SOP, show that the

demonic/supernatural (pagan-religion) messages of the dragon, beast and false prophet do not go out into the world until after the 3+1AM have already been given and done their finalizing work. So those demonic messages fundamentally cannot be pitted against God’s messages. They at best actually are Satan’s, post close of probation, permitted, indeed imitating, attempt to coalesce the camp that already has knowingly rejected God’s message, and that necessarily so, as the outpouring of the plagues on them has been devastating them. Again, according to strict linear/sequential understandings, which I see Shubert view is actually also/generally subjected to, though Rev 16:13-14 is subjectively/indifferently excluded from that hermeneutic, that strict, Sixth Plague occurrence cannot be claimed to occur in any actual form prior to that time.

Here are my theorems:

-Interestingly enough, Shubert’s “theorems” are plausibly “demonstrable” but only if they

are, as he chooses to do, kept from being exposed to the full/actual light of God’s word on these issues. Again, as shown below, his views abruptly end in humanistic political and societal concerns and not actually/really in what concerns God Himself and certainly not why He has been allowing a 6000-year GC. (See e.g., DA 20.1-21.3; 761.3-764.4). In other words, if God, in the Third Angel’s Message “blow His cool” because, e.g., ‘American Democracy is being controlled by Corporate Interest’ then, frankly, I should have become and American citizen and pledged allegiance to its Constitution because that inherently involves that that is what God most “passionately” is concerned about. Frankly Shubert is betray something that is quite common with American, even SDA Americans, and that is that America, as it Constitution advocates, is the best demonstration of what God’s rule of Freedom over His Creation on Earth, (if not also for Heaven -Matt 6:10), can/should look like. So anything which interferes with that Constitutional American ideal, Shubert interprets to be a Biblical perversion. No wonder he sees people who express these views as his “sources”, “luminaries” and “expert” in understanding and interpreting the Three Angels’ Messages. As I said to him e.g. here and here, that, most deceptively, is contradicting God’s actual Four Living Creature, plans to establish His (even temporal) Kingdom and Rule on this Earth....but much more on all this not so subtle diversion, pertinently later. 

Theorem 1: Satan epitomizes self-worship (Ezekiel 28:1-19):

-Well that goes without saying, I actually won’t find much error in Shubert’s

substantiation of the 3AM and Satan’s wilderness Temptations themselves, which as already stated above, I indeed see as Biblical, but where things really unravel in Shubert’s view is his Third Angel interpretation and application/fulfillment claims. So most of my comments will occur at that point.

Isaiah 14

12 "How you have fallen from heaven,

O star of the morning, son of the dawn!

You have been cut down to the earth,

You who have weakened the nations!

13 "But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven;

I will raise my throne above the stars of God,

And I will sit on the mount of assembly

In the recesses of the north.

14 'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;

I will make myself like the Most High.'

Not surprisingly therefore, Satan's advice is that we are to serve ourselves and put ourselves first.

-Which is exactly the same advice as Adam Smith’s self-interest from which Shubert’s

solving view is based.

Matthew 4

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." 4 But He answered and said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"

-Perhaps Shubert assumes here that the link to “self-worship/self-uplifting” goes without

saying here, but, as the explicit call in that first temptation was to “turn stones into bread” and Christ’s answer focused on heeding all that God had said, it then is more clearly seen that since Satan prefaced that temptation by saying “If/Since you are the Son of God”....but it was God’s Spirit that had brought Jesus into that barren wilderness to be tempted (Matt 4:1), perhaps also telling Him that He could not use miracle-working power during that period, Satan’s temptation then indeed was an attempt to get Jesus to ‘be like the God ‘He actually was’ (Matt 3:17), instead of denying Himself and suffering’; - an act which would have, conversely made Jesus ‘know sin’ (Gen 3:5, 22).

The spirit seen coming out of the dragon is the spirit of the dragon.

-That would be pretty obvious. However the pivotal error in here is from the exegetical

fact that, as already amply discussed above, the Bible is not saying that (a) the dragon has yet released that Spirit as it will be done during the Sixth Plague, and (b) that it will be in a Christian context, instead of a pagan one. “Worshiping oneself” is not actually of such “pagan” religion effectuation. The Prophetic fact indeed is that at that the Rev 16:13-14 effectuation, the Mark of the Beast camp, then powerfully operating as Rev 17 Eighth-Head Beast, will actually no longer be worshiping themselves, but heed morality-emulating, yet paganistic stipulation, they will come to allow themselves to be ruled by Nature/Creation. E.g., they will see that what is moral, is what is good for the preservation of the “Mother Nature”. So it will indeed be an neo-return to the self-binding beliefs of past pagans.

            So really, whatever valid things Shubert may present in his exposition of the 3AM below is really a fluke as they actually are not pitted against what the dragon, beast and false prophet will actually be saying when possessed by demonic forces and trying to rally the world against God’s already Temporally Triumphant People. (Rev 16:16)

            And as I have been telling Shubert, what will distinguish ‘precious from the vile’ (EW 263.3), both now, and until then, is if people are then fully clothed in Christ’s actual Righteousness (=Righteous Acts) (Rev 16:15; 19:8 = the “graduates from the Fifth Era Rev 3:1-6 (see commentary of that Fifth Era in this post.)

The sign of the dragon spirit, in part, is the very popular philosophy of Ayn Rand, which declares: "Altruism is evil."

-It is interesting that Shubert would qualify this as a “sign”, as that philosphy has been

presented for over 60 years now. So he probably literally means that this is an ‘indication of what is to come’ Be that as it may, with ‘Selfishness being the Chief of Sins’ (4T 384.3) and the founding reason for this GC (DA 20.1-21.3)

            However the full and accurate Biblical Truth is that when the dragon’s unclean/frog spirit will actually be released on the (lost) world, the “teaching” will then no longer be that “altruism” is evil, but, still selfishly, that it is necessary for survival, however only if it can profit oneself. So altruism will be diluted into an actually proactive manifestation of what Mixed Economic practices are currently doing, but still limitedly so. Hence the deception of that message as it too falls short of God’s ideal which sacrificially gives up, up to everything for the welfare of someone else.

            And it must pertinently also be emphasized that in my Typological/Spiritual Eschatology, the Plagues which were revealed to EGW as not being universal so as to not completely damage the Earth (GC 628.2), is so that the ensuing temporal rule of God’s kingdom in this world will not also be hampered. (cf. Isa 66:24)

-Interesting that Shubert rightly cites passage here, which is actually much more than a

“rebuttal” which implies merely a spoken refutation, but, to the True and Full follower of Christ,  is to be an ‘also ingested “antidote”’. As Paul starts off by saying: “Let this mind be in you...”| (Literally:) “Have this thinking in yourselves...” (Phil 2:5)

For the atheist who is incapable of being moved by the Spirit or arguments from Scripture, I cite Christopher Hitchens' comical criticisms of the writings of Ayn Rand:

"I'm invited to be unpleasant at the expense of Ayn Rand and Objectivism. Well, that's easy. Well, they're novels...

"I care very much about literature as the place where real dilemmas--ethical dilemma--are met and dealt with. So to have novels as transcendently awful as Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead sort of undermines my project."

"I don't think that there is any need to have essays advocating selfishness among human beings. I don't know what your impression has been but some things require no further reinforcement."

"So to have a book strenuously recommending that people be more self-centered seems to me, as the Anglican Church used to say in its critique of Catholicism, a work of supererogation. It's too strenuous." [1].

-I understand Shubert endeavor for clinching “objectivity”, but renown and outspoken

antiatheist Christopher Hitchens did not actually say anything here that would (moreover, ‘Spiritually move’ or sway an atheist against Ayn Rand view. He merely said that she didn’t actually have to explicitly encourage/inspire people to be selfish because that is something that [most] people will naturally aim to do by themselves; -which is indeed quite true.

For scholars, some might also find the opinions of other distinguished critics as equally worthy of consideration:

            -I neither see an actual “critiquing” being done here, i.e., if that is meant to speak against Ayn Rand and actual her view, but what I do find interesting from those ‘neutral’ statements, is that an attempt is being made to downplay the horrific image that Ayn Rand boldly express tenet project. In other words, these selfish people inherently know that selfishness is, at least not well regarded by others, though most prefer to be selfish, but explicitly identifying it as that, and moreover indicating that this is with fervent intent, would be painting these egotism subscribers as evil. It’s like no government in the world wanting to discuss their systematic, and even infiltrative, Spying on/of other nations, including their so-called allies. And that is also why this is generally euphemistically referred to as “Intelligence Gathering.”

The first angel's message is the antithesis of the dragon's thesis.

-Technically, Yes and No. God’s (primary) call in the 1AM is to “fear God” Satan on the

other hand thinks to promote something much better which is for people to “love themselves”. God is working from the merciful reality that people may not know him at all so rather than say at a start to: ‘love’, or even, ‘believe in God’, He instead merely ask people to consider the manifested past works of God and at the very least “fear” that demonstration of God...and from there, on that gate of faith is opened and crossed, wisdom into the things of God should naturally follow. (Psa 111:10; Pro 1:7; 9:10; Heb 11:1-2ff). Satan on the other hand knows that it is logically futile to call men to “fear” themselves because people already know that they are not all-powerful and all-knowing, so he instead dupes them into believing that what they need to do to “survive all obstacles” is to love themselves much more above anything and anyone else, and thus they can ascend to, relatively, most powerful and most knowledgeable (with ‘knowledge being power’) positions in this world.

            Giving glory to God is to reflect His Character (see 9MR 296.4; 6MR 342.2) and that is done by being glory = tangibly reflect character, which means fully doing what He did. As EGW relatedly says on this in a related ‘humility, the mind of Christ, wilderness temptation, and true righteousness & holiness’ context:

“We must practice the example of Christ, bearing in mind His Sonship and His humanity. It was not God that was tempted in the wilderness, nor a god that was to endure the contradiction of sinners against himself. It was the Majesty of heaven who became a man--humbled Himself to our human nature.”  {6MR 342.2; cf. ST, February 24, 1909 par. 3} 

It is quite telling that though Shubert has more than less laid a good fountain here, by the Third Angel’s message, his message literally becomes, through the wine of his Babylonian “experts”, “sources” and “luminaries” (=Rev 18:23), equally ‘slurred and blurred’, to the point that by then, he is absolutely convinced that God’s fight is in denouncing the “takeover of America” and by sequitur implication, since the Third Angel’s Message is to also involve a ‘call out of these Beast/Babylon “abominations”’ (Rev 14:9-11|18:1-6), and therefore for a “taking back of America”, unless he rather wants people to emigrate from America. His message, by being Biblically skewed, indeed right from the start in seeing that Rev 16:13-14 has an application before the outpouring of the plagues, when the hermeuntical, prophetic fact is that what will then be done by these demon force will be a new/supernatural thing that will thus startle and attract the then long languishing, and already condemned, Mark of the Beast camp....but more on that later.

            That looming warped ending in Shubert’s 3AM analysis and message demonstrate the craftiness in Satan’s lying works for he has no problem at all building a foundation for his lie on things that much more than less soundly grounded in Biblical truth, as, more than less, are Shubert’s 1AM and 2AM presentations, (though merely in the messages themselves and not the Rev 16:13-14 linking he tries to make), and so by the 3AM, the casual reader is literally hooked into the deception by those prior two acceptable Angel Messages presentations. So it is important to keep things in perspective here in these early sections of Shubert’s study. Not coincidentally enough, in his Noam Chomsky dream, which focused on the Middle East, and with Him seeing a claimed fulfillment of the image of the beast in Israel, that God (I assume) was warning him that he was perverting his actual message...but Shubert won’t (ultimately) be led by the ‘light of the Bible’ but by his pagan “luminaries” instead (Isa 8:20), such as here, Noam Chomsky. He indeed is not, as he, through by now utter, intoxicated deception, make any difference between the precious and the vile, indeed, as seen in here, citing Mark 9:38|Luke 9:49 wholeheartedly thinking that his luminaries are working in Jesus’s name and aiding the harvesting of His field....now that is the “Spiritualism” through which Satan binds and deceives the whole world, including SDA’s. (EW 263-266-269)...but I pro-gress....

So the dragon says more than what I've covered so far. Here are other signs of the dragon spirit:

-As said above, by the time the dragon’s own unclean/demonic spirit will be released into

the world, it will not be such then “elementary”, literally “fairy tale” denial of God messages for, according to the prophetic timing and sequence of that Sixth Plague, by then the Mark of the Beast camp will have seen in the glorious power demonstrated during the already passed Loud Cry events that those who are living according to God’s ways do have much evidence that what they claim and believe about God is true, so Satan’s countering message will instead need to be in an opposing tangible deity and religious system which will capture the hopes of that defeated and flailing camp (See LDE 164.1), -and he will then resort to the pagan’s tangible naturalism.

            Again there may be no “harm” in itself here to see that Shubert does have a point to claim that such anti-real-God advocating messages is in direct opposition to the 1AM, but, all things in his view considered, including the Rev 16:13-14 claim here by him, that is really the bait and hook at the end of his false prophetic message’s line.

Spiritualism is also a Sign of the First Demon's Message

The Quintessence of Spiritualism

If there were no other evidence of the real character of spiritualism, it should be enough for the Christian that the spirits make no difference between righteousness and sin. ... Satan says to the world: "No matter how wicked you are; no matter whether you believe or disbelieve God and the Bible. Live as you please; heaven is your home." The spiritualist teachers virtually declare: "Everyone that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and He delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?" Malachi 2:17. --The Great Controversy, pp. 556-557.

-It is uncanny how Shubert cannot see how he is actually fulfilling this to a “t” by

advocating that his “sources” and “luminaries” are actually proclaiming the 3AMs. That is on its face and in full substance and details, square on the ‘Thomas Paine is in Heaven and is teaching the truth’ Spiritualism deception of Satan’ which EGW restates here in GC. That is all because Eugene Shubert did not really make Jesus Christ the foundation of his prophetic study, indeed, as seen in here, he balks and scoff at any notion which involves that Jesus actually has much more say than what his “experts” can ever approximate. Indeed their agenda is not to actually, sacrificially, help people in need, but really merely decry the fact that, in pointedly America, rich people and corporations are allow to have a weightier vote than the average citizen....by the way, if the whole U.S. electoral system is based, right down to the roots, on competition, subjective opinion and power instead of, variously, simply objective Truth, then how else can some influentially get there message/views before as many people as possible to maximize their chances of getting elected than by MONEY. To actually fix the problem, fight the root cause...not the symptom, or even the damage.

Dr. Eben Alexander, a Harvard neurosurgeon, received this message to take back with him from his dead sister in heaven: "You are loved, you are cherished, there is nothing you have to fear, there is nothing you can do wrong." cf. [2].

-The Full/Eschatological Spiritualism message is much more than believing that (all the)

dead go to Heaven. As I stated here+here EGW was also shown that the ‘Spiritualism, “Angel of Light’ Deception will also be effectuate by well-respected, and outwardly righteous people, proclaiming a righteousness that falls short of what God actually requires. The following SOP quotes apply squarely to Shubert’s deceiving ‘“courageous”, “well-renowned”, Third Angel Message “experts” “sources”, “luminaries” and ‘proclaimers’.

“Satan is preparing his deceptions, that in his last campaign against the people of God they may not understand that it is he. 2 Corinthians 11:14: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”... He is too cunning to come openly, boldly, with his temptations; for then the drowsy energies of the Christian would arouse, and he would rely upon the strong and mighty Deliverer. But he comes in unperceived, and works in disguise through the children of disobedience who profess godliness.” (1T 341.1)

            indeed even if they were to, even more deceivingly, actually and/or explicitly ‘confess Christianity’

“As spiritualism more closely imitates the nominal Christianity of the day, it has greater power to deceive and ensnare. Satan himself is converted, after the modern order of things. He will appear in the character of an angel of light. Through the agency of spiritualism, miracles will be wrought, the sick will be healed, and many undeniable wonders will be performed. And as the spirits will profess faith in the Bible, and manifest respect for the institutions of the church, their work will be accepted as a manifestation of divine power.” (GC 588.2)

Shubert has allowed the white-washing claims of these unwitting deceivers that they are

actually trying to help/save people in need, but really they are working only for an American Patriotism and “Pure” Democracy agenda.

“Satan has come down in these last days to work with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish. His satanic majesty works miracles in the sight of false prophets, in the sight of men, claiming that he is indeed Christ Himself. Satan gives his power to those who are aiding him in his deceptions; therefore those who claim to have the great power of God can only be discerned by the great detector, the law of Jehovah. The Lord tells us if it were possible they would deceive the very elect. The sheep’s clothing seems so real, so genuine, that the wolf can be discerned only as we go to God’s great moral standard and there find that they are transgressors of the law of Jehovah (The Review and Herald, August 25, 1885). {6BC 1106.1}

Not surprising at all, as Shubert actually ignores that ‘determinative “moral” standard’ in

vetting and validating his Third Angel Message ‘lights’, that message of his does not mention God’s Sabbath, neither in its Letter, nor in its actual Spirit (Isa 58). Without that Sealing Truth, one can’t resist being deceived by the subtle and ensnaring Mark of the Beast campaign.

It is also quite telling that Shubert Three Angel’s message is actually, in its final joint

form, compartmentalized where what he more than less Biblically presents for each of the first two messages, actually do not flow into the third message, as they actually should. (See  Ev 196.1;  2SM 104.2-3) The Loud Cry is moreover a joint repetition of all Three of those messages (7BC 985.6; cf. 2SM 116.1-2). But in Shubert view the Third Angel’s Message actually stands all alone as merely a call against, paramountly, ‘corporate power grabs into democratic arenas’. His (relatively sound) First Angel Message here of avoid self-worship, and his next Second Angel Message of Catholic counterfeit of faith in presumptuousness, do not actually see the ‘light of day’ (Isa 8:20) in his Third Angel view except for his tangential, spurious and quite diversionary, prophetic-political view that the image of the (first) beast (Rev 13:14-15) is: ‘Zionist Israel, empowered by the U.S.’ Sure he there can make a conjectured, surface “presumptuousness” case, but the actual Three Angel Messages’ remedying, waymark teachings that (1) the actual/real hour of God’s judgement had come, and (2) what are the specific sins of Babylon which oppose God’s Law, especially the Letter and Spirit of His Sabbath are glossed over and ignored for unspecific generalities. E.g., (1) When you gloss over the precise “timing” aspect of God’s judgement, then there is no preaching of: the Sanctuary and the Atonement, Time of the End, and Remnant Movement; and (2) when you fail to focus on the specific, anti-law and Sabbath (Dan 7:25) message of Babylon which leads to all of its major deceiving doctrines, then people will actually continue to, in full, and actually accepted “faith” (Rom 14:23; Acts 17:30-31), believe those uncalled out of false teachings. And thus, one is unable to accurately figure out and recognize, including Shubert himself, what the Third Angel Message is actually all about and how exactly it is being effectuate in the world today. That is all quite “antithetical” to the actual Three Angel Messages. (5MR 352.3)

            Additionally, Shubert is through these glaring glossing omission effectively, actually preaching a “No (Heavenly) Sanctuary” message here, or at the very less, a “Sanctuary-less” message, with the word “Sanctuary” indeed not even occurring in his webpage! No that is actually a fulfillement of the “WOE” warning that God had given him in a John Harvey Kellogg dream, and this is indeed typifying of, if not literally the fulfilment of the “Omega” Apostasy’s deception. (2MR 243.2; 11MR 211.2ff) Indeed Shubert mirrors this with his message here which, by the Third Angel’s Message, jumps the rails as it then more completely ‘makes/sees not difference between the precious and the vile’, instead “pantheistically”, devotedly choosing to see “God/Christ” in what pagans advocate to better the world claiming that this is the true ‘Third Angel Message’. (=EW 263.3) Only God and Jesus Christ is to be the “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end” of the Three Angel’s Message. (Rev 21:6; 22:13, 18-19; cf. RH, December 20, 1906 par. 15)

The First Angel's Message

Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

The Second Demon's Message

The spirit seen coming out of the beast is the spirit of the beast.

-Shubert consistently makes this circular statement, but the fact is that the unclean spirits

that come out of all of those Three entity are all the same...they are all “frogs”. Full prophetic pondering reveals that this is an externally inspired unclean spirit, all finally fully reflective of that of the originating and initiating dragon, who at first had been all alone in this Anti-Christ endeavor (Rev 12:7), prior to him “enlisting” various key allies. And the astonishing thing about this, which is what will rally the Mark of the Beast camp into this mega-coalition is that these three entities will all be speaking alike. I.e., both the Beast and its False prophet will be advocating the same solution, and the “Angel of Light”-deceiving Satan also will surprisingly be as “religious” and “benevolent” as them then. Indeed/Interestingly enough, whenever a similar depiction of Rev 16:13 of ‘a demon speaking through another person/entity’ occurs in the Bible, we do not see them spewing out evil diatribes, but instead, they slyly, and actually in self-preserving attempts (cf. Rev 12:12b), say things which seems to be oh so True, positive and (partly/isolatively) Biblical; E.g., Gen 3:4-5; cf Gen 3:22; 1 Sam 28:13-19; Luke 4:33-34; Acts 16:16-18; -indeed as also done in Satan’s Wilderness Temptations (Matt 4:3, 6|Luke 4:3, 9-11; cf. DA 746.4).

            So, all unlike Shubert claims and view, those three spirits are not different from each other, but all the exact same views. So exegesis reveals that in the actual Rev 16:13-14 development, it is not each ‘entity saying a distinct thing according to their own inherent spirit’, but it is all three entities speak in one and the same voice, at the same time, which, will itself be a ‘sign of God’s will’ to onlookers.

            So never having seen exegetical basis for Shubert to remove Rev 16:13-14 from its context and claim that it parallels the Three Angel’s message, as plausible as it may sound, and, like the brilliant exterior form of a shining Angel, therein is its actual, subtle deception, the Bible instead reveal that those demonic messages will all be saying the same exact thing...and only during the Sixth Plague (Rev 16:14)...and with the anti-dote being Christ’s. Investigative Judgement passing (Matt 22:1-14), Full Robe of Righteousness (Rev 16:15; 3:1-6) which the Bible reveals is “the righteous acts of the saints” (Rev 19:8). No surprising Shubert, blinded by his “light” and enthraled by his spurious conjectures, refuses to engage that Full Righteousness teaching, deferring instead to what his “luminaries” advocate as righteousness, which, not tellingly merely, controllingly and limitingly, revolves around Capitalistic monies and American patriotism.

            So, for the record here, upon such clearer evidence of Biblical error, I here see the Biblical imperative to utterly reject Shubert’s plausible but false, foundational claim of, pointedly a ‘parallel between the Three Angel Messages and the Demonic messages of Rev 16:13-14. Again, deception is best when it is mostly the truth, and so here, while there indeed are Biblical links between the identities of the dragon, beast and false prophet and the Three warnings that God has given out into the world, contrary to the full implication in Shubert claim, when these will be speaking in demonic power, it will not be according to the distinct, even anti-God messages that they had priorly been preaching, but in one pseudo-religious voice, that will so closely resemble the truth that it could deceive the elect. And in his Third Angel Message, which is the key to all of the Three Angel’s Messages and its/their Loud Cry, Shubert demonstrates how his own false teachings lead to the perversion of the solemn, final warning. His indeed is a message that seems to want to help people in need, but really, with the end goal being to return choices to the democratic will of, really whatever the people actually want, it is just another form of the evils that the first and second angels messages are speaking against. So really, Shubert has gone full circle to deceive himself into accepting what he claims to be preaching against, by his own message. And therein is seen the Fruit of the works that are deficient in, curtail and/or outrightly ignore Christ’s Full Righteousness; -thinking that the world, and those who are in the world, itself knows and teaches better. You cannot, in any degree, ignore one Literal or Spiritual iota of God’s Moral Standard/Law and expect to ever reflect His glory (Isa 8:20).

What is the nature of the beast? The beast is like a chameleon. Its nature is to assume the character that will best accomplish its purpose.

-Not really. the “nature” itself of the Catholic Church has never changed. It mindset and

objectives have always remained the same. And, summarily stated, that is a mindset of it being ‘God on Earth’, with also a believe that it has an unimpeachable power which makes them right in whatever the chose to do. And so, just like a chameleon who changes its external skin does not actually change its nature, but merely is trying to implement its chief self-preserving goal, thought as the extensive SOP (from GC 49-60) statement below actually state, the Church has done virtually ‘whatever it takes’ that has all been toward its chief objective to variously ‘empower itself. So any ‘exterior/surface’ change that is allows is all according to that paramount mindset. That mindset that it can do whatever it sees as right and God Himself abides by it is quite illogically circular...and even Jesus did not go by such a tenet (Matt 5:17-20; John 5:19; 8:29)

Revelation 13

1 And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore.

Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2 And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority.

-Here the “nature” of the beast does not at all change. It is all according to Satan’s own

template (e.g., Rev 12:3) and over time Satan has been merely adding or removing features to Template to allow it to be acceptable in whatever context it needs to operate it..but the foundational aim of the best, controlling, world ideologies (7 Heads) as well as complete global spread and empowerment (10 horns) has always remained the same. Any other change is purely cosmetic and not at all intrinsic indeed not during its Satanic (Rev 12:7); Historical/Pagan (Isa 14:4ff, 13-15); Imperial (Political) (Rev 12:3; 1 Pet 5:13); Papal (Ecclesiastical) (Rev 13:1-10); Socio-Economic (Capitalistic) (Rev 13:11-18; 17-18) “Babylonian” forms.

The sign of the beast spirit

Historically, the power that has tested the Lord God the most and adapted and conformed best to its pagan surroundings to further its own self-serving purposes is the hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church.

Little by little, at first in stealth and silence, and then more openly as it increased in strength and gained control of the minds of men, "the mystery of iniquity" carried forward its deceptive and blasphemous work. Almost imperceptibly the customs of heathenism found their way into the Christian church. The spirit of compromise and conformity was restrained for a time by the fierce persecutions which the church endured under paganism. But as persecution ceased, and Christianity entered the courts and palaces of kings, she laid aside the humble simplicity of Christ and His apostles for the pomp and pride of pagan priests and rulers; and in place of the requirements of God, she substituted human theories and traditions. The nominal conversion of Constantine, in the early part of the fourth century, caused great rejoicing; and the world, cloaked with a form of righteousness, walked into the church. Now the work of corruption rapidly progressed. Paganism, while appearing to be vanquished, became the conqueror. Her spirit controlled the church. Her doctrines, ceremonies, and superstitions were incorporated into the faith and worship of the professed followers of Christ. --The Great Controversy, pp. 49-50. [3].

This compromise between paganism and Christianity resulted in the development of "the man of sin" foretold in prophecy as opposing and exalting himself above God. That gigantic system of false religion is a masterpiece of Satan's power--a monument of his efforts to seat himself upon the throne to rule the earth according to his will. -- ibid, p. 50.

It is one of the leading doctrines of Romanism that the pope is the visible head of the universal church of Christ, invested with supreme authority over bishops and pastors in all parts of the world. More than this, the pope has been given the very titles of Deity. He has been styled "Lord God the Pope" (see Appendix), and has been declared infallible. He demands the homage of all men. -- ibid, p. 50.

Satan well knew that the Holy Scriptures would enable men to discern his deceptions and withstand his power. It was by the word that even the Saviour of the world had resisted his attacks. At every assault, Christ presented the shield of eternal truth, saying, "It is written." To every suggestion of the adversary, He opposed the wisdom and power of the word. In order for Satan to maintain his sway over men, and establish the authority of the papal usurper, he must keep them in ignorance of the Scriptures. The Bible would exalt God and place finite men in their true position; therefore its sacred truths must be concealed and suppressed. This logic was adopted by the Roman Church. For hundreds of years the circulation of the Bible was prohibited. The people were forbidden to read it or to have it in their houses, and unprincipled priests and prelates interpreted its teachings to sustain their pretensions. Thus the pope came to be almost universally acknowledged as the vicegerent of God on earth, endowed with authority over church and state.     -- ibid, p. 51.

The detector of error having been removed, Satan worked according to his will. Prophecy had declared that the papacy was to "think to change times and laws." Daniel 7:25. This work it was not slow to attempt. To afford converts from heathenism a substitute for the worship of idols, and thus to promote their nominal acceptance of Christianity, the adoration of images and relics was gradually introduced into the Christian worship. The decree of a general council (see Appendix) finally established this system of idolatry. To complete the sacrilegious work, Rome presumed to expunge from the law of God the second commandment, forbidding image worship, and to divide the tenth commandment, in order to preserve the number.        -- ibid, pp. 51-52.

The spirit of concession to paganism opened the way for a still further disregard of Heaven's authority. Satan, working through unconsecrated leaders of the church, tampered with the fourth commandment also, and essayed to set aside the ancient Sabbath, the day which God had blessed and sanctified (Genesis 2:2,3), and in its stead to exalt the festival observed by the heathen as "the venerable day of the sun." -- ibid, p. 52.

In the early part of the fourth century the emperor Constantine issued a decree making Sunday a public festival throughout the Roman Empire. (See Appendix.) The day of the sun was reverenced by his pagan subjects and was honored by Christians; it was the emperor's policy to unite the conflicting interests of heathenism and Christianity. He was urged to do this by the bishops of the church, who, inspired by ambition and thirst for power, perceived that if the same day was observed by both Christians and heathen, it would promote the nominal acceptance of Christianity by pagans and thus advance the power and glory of the church. -- ibid, p. 53.

The archdeceiver had not completed his work. He was resolved to gather the Christian world under his banner and to exercise his power through his vicegerent, the proud pontiff who claimed to be the representative of Christ. Through half-converted pagans, ambitious prelates, and world-loving churchmen he accomplished his purpose. Vast councils were held from time to time, in which the dignitaries of the church were convened from all the world. In nearly every council the Sabbath which God had instituted was pressed down a little lower, while the Sunday was correspondingly exalted. Thus the pagan festival came finally to be honored as a divine institution, while the Bible Sabbath was pronounced a relic of Judaism, and its observers were declared to be accursed. -- ibid, p. 53.

The great apostate had succeeded in exalting himself "above all that is called God, or that is worshiped." 2 Thessalonians 2:4. He had dared to change the only precept of the divine law that unmistakably points all mankind to the true and living God. In the fourth commandment, God is revealed as the Creator of the heavens and the earth, and is thereby distinguished from all false gods. It was as a memorial of the work of creation that the seventh day was sanctified as a rest day for man. It was designed to keep the living God ever before the minds of men as the source of being and the object of reverence and worship. Satan strives to turn men from their allegiance to God, and from rendering obedience to His law; therefore he directs his efforts especially against that commandment which points to God as the Creator. -- ibid, pp. 53-54.

In the sixth century the papacy had become firmly established. Its seat of power was fixed in the imperial city, and the bishop of Rome was declared to be the head over the entire church. Paganism had given place to the papacy. The dragon had given to the beast "his power, and his seat, and great authority." Revelation 13:2. And now began the 1260 years of papal oppression foretold in the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation. Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:5-7. (See Appendix.) Christians were forced to choose either to yield their integrity and accept the papal ceremonies and worship, or to wear away their lives in dungeons or suffer death by the rack, the fagot, or the headsman's ax. -- ibid, p. 54.

The accession of the Roman Church to power marked the beginning of the Dark Ages. As her power increased, the darkness deepened. Faith was transferred from Christ, the true foundation, to the pope of Rome. Instead of trusting in the Son of God for forgiveness of sins and for eternal salvation, the people looked to the pope, and to the priests and prelates to whom he delegated authority. They were taught that the pope was their earthly mediator and that none could approach God except through him; and, further, that he stood in the place of God to them and was therefore to be implicitly obeyed. A deviation from his requirements was sufficient cause for the severest punishment to be visited upon the bodies and souls of the offenders. Thus the minds of the people were turned away from God to fallible, erring, and cruel men, nay, more, to the prince of darkness himself, who exercised his power through them. Sin was disguised in a garb of sanctity. When the Scriptures are suppressed, and man comes to regard himself as supreme, we need look only for fraud, deception, and debasing iniquity. With the elevation of human laws and traditions was manifest the corruption that ever results from setting aside the law of God. -- ibid, p. 55.

Those were days of peril for the church of Christ. The faithful standard-bearers were few indeed. Though the truth was not left without witnesses, yet at times it seemed that error and superstition would wholly prevail, and true religion would be banished from the earth. The gospel was lost sight of, but the forms of religion were multiplied, and the people were burdened with rigorous exactions. -- ibid, p. 55.

They were taught not only to look to the pope as their mediator, but to trust to works of their own to atone for sin. Long pilgrimages, acts of penance, the worship of relics, the erection of churches, shrines, and altars, the payment of large sums to the church--these and many similar acts were enjoined to appease the wrath of God or to secure His favor; as if God were like men, to be angered at trifles, or pacified by gifts or acts of penance! -- ibid, pp. 55-56.

Notwithstanding that vice prevailed, even among the leaders of the Roman Church, her influence seemed steadily to increase. About the close of the eighth century, papists put forth the claim that in the first ages of the church the bishops of Rome had possessed the same spiritual power which they now assumed. To establish this claim, some means must be employed to give it a show of authority; and this was readily suggested by the father of lies. Ancient writings were forged by monks. Decrees of councils before unheard of were discovered, establishing the universal supremacy of the pope from the earliest times. And a church that had rejected the truth greedily accepted these deceptions. (See Appendix.) -- ibid, p. 56.

The darkness seemed to grow more dense. Image worship became more general. Candles were burned before images, and prayers were offered to them. The most absurd and superstitious customs prevailed. The minds of men were so completely controlled by superstition that reason itself seemed to have lost its sway. While priests and bishops were themselves pleasure-loving, sensual, and corrupt, it could only be expected that the people who looked to them for guidance would be sunken in ignorance and vice. -- ibid, p. 57.

Another step in papal assumption was taken, when, in the eleventh century, Pope Gregory VII proclaimed the perfection of the Roman Church. Among the propositions which he put forth was one declaring that the church had never erred, nor would it ever err, according to the Scriptures. But the Scripture proofs did not accompany the assertion. The proud pontiff also claimed the power to depose emperors, and declared that no sentence which he pronounced could be reversed by anyone, but that it was his prerogative to reverse the decisions of all others. (See Appendix.) -- ibid, p. 57.

The advancing centuries witnessed a constant increase of error in the doctrines put forth from Rome. Even before the establishment of the papacy the teachings of heathen philosophers had received attention and exerted an influence in the church. Many who professed conversion still clung to the tenets of their pagan philosophy, and not only continued its study themselves, but urged it upon others as a means of extending their influence among the heathen. Serious errors were thus introduced into the Christian faith. Prominent among these was the belief in man's natural immortality and his consciousness in death. This doctrine laid the foundation upon which Rome established the invocation of saints and the adoration of the Virgin Mary. From this sprang also the heresy of eternal torment for the finally impenitent, which was early incorporated into the papal faith. -- ibid, p. 58.

Then the way was prepared for the introduction of still another invention of paganism, which Rome named purgatory, and employed to terrify the credulous and superstitious multitudes. By this heresy is affirmed the existence of a place of torment, in which the souls of such as have not merited eternal damnation are to suffer punishment for their sins, and from which, when freed from impurity, they are admitted to heaven. (See Appendix.) -- ibid, pp. 58-59.

Still another fabrication was needed to enable Rome to profit by the fears and the vices of her adherents. This was supplied by the doctrine of indulgences. Full remission of sins, past, present, and future, and release from all the pains and penalties incurred, were promised to all who would enlist in the pontiff's wars to extend his temporal dominion, to punish his enemies, or to exterminate those who dared deny his spiritual supremacy. The people were also taught that by the payment of money to the church they might free themselves from sin, and also release the souls of their deceased friends who were confined in the tormenting flames. By such means did Rome fill her coffers and sustain the magnificence, luxury, and vice of the pretended representatives of Him who had not where to lay His head. (See Appendix.) -- ibid, p. 59.

The Scriptural ordinance of the Lord's Supper had been supplanted by the idolatrous sacrifice of the mass. Papal priests pretended, by their senseless mummery, to convert the simple bread and wine into the actual "body and blood of Christ." --Cardinal Wiseman, The Real Presence of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Blessed Eucharist, Proved From Scripture, lecture 8, sec. 3, par. 26. With blasphemous presumption, they openly claimed the power of creating God, the Creator of all things. Christians were required, on pain of death, to avow their faith in this horrible, Heaven-insulting heresy. Multitudes who refused were given to the flames. (See Appendix.) -- ibid, p. 59.

In the thirteenth century was established that most terrible of all the engines of the papacy--the Inquisition. The prince of darkness wrought with the leaders of the papal hierarchy. In their secret councils Satan and his angels controlled the minds of evil men, while unseen in the midst stood an angel of God, taking the fearful record of their iniquitous decrees and writing the history of deeds too horrible to appear to human eyes. "Babylon the great" was "drunken with the blood of the saints." The mangled forms of millions of martyrs cried to God for vengeance upon that apostate power. -- ibid, pp. 59-60.

Popery had become the world's despot. Kings and emperors bowed to the decrees of the Roman pontiff. The destinies of men, both for time and for eternity, seemed under his control. For hundreds of years the doctrines of Rome had been extensively and implicitly received, its rites reverently performed, its festivals generally observed. Its clergy were honored and liberally sustained. Never since has the Roman Church attained to greater dignity, magnificence, or power.-- ibid, p. 60.

But "the noon of the papacy was the midnight of the world." -- J. A. Wylie, The History of Protestantism, b. 1, ch. 4. The Holy Scriptures were almost unknown, not only to the people, but to the priests. Like the Pharisees of old, the papal leaders hated the light which would reveal their sins. God's law, the standard of righteousness, having been removed, they exercised power without limit, and practiced vice without restraint. Fraud, avarice, and profligacy prevailed. Men shrank from no crime by which they could gain wealth or position. The palaces of popes and prelates were scenes of the vilest debauchery. Some of the reigning pontiffs were guilty of crimes so revolting that secular rulers endeavored to depose these dignitaries of the church as monsters too vile to be tolerated. For centuries Europe had made no progress in learning, arts, or civilization. A moral and intellectual paralysis had fallen upon Christendom. -- ibid, p. 60.

Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: The uncontested, indisputable examples of Roman Catholic excesses, which are unusually outrageous and numerous, compel us to acknowledge an irrefutable conclusion: Theorem 2-1: The papacy epitomizes unparalleled presumption and the minimal principle.

The papacy is the epitome of presumptuousness

The Minimal Principle:

A prayerful study of the Bible would show Protestants the real character of the papacy and would cause them to abhor and to shun it; but many are so wise in their own conceit that they feel no need of humbly seeking God that they may be led into the truth. Although priding themselves on their enlightenment, they are ignorant both of the Scriptures and of the power of God. They must have some means of quieting their consciences, and they seek that which is least spiritual and humiliating. What they desire is a method of forgetting God which shall pass as a method of remembering Him. The papacy is well adapted to meet the wants of all these. It is prepared for two classes of mankind, embracing nearly the whole world--those who would be saved by their merits, and those who would be saved in their sins. Here is the secret of its power. --The Great Controversy, p. 572.

Popery is the religion of human nature, and the mass of humanity love a doctrine that permits them to commit sin, and yet frees them from its consequences. People must have some form of religion, and this religion, formed by human device, and yet claiming divine authority, suits the carnal mind. Men who think themselves wise and intelligent turn away in pride from the standard of righteousness, the ten commandments, and do not think it is in harmony with their dignity to inquire into the ways of God. Therefore they go into false ways, into forbidden paths, become self-sufficient, self inflated, after the pattern of the pope, not after the pattern of Jesus Christ. They must have the form of religion that has the least requirement of spirituality and self-denial, and as unsanctified human wisdom will not lead them to loathe popery, they are naturally drawn toward its provisions and doctrines. They do not want to walk in the ways of the Lord. They are altogether too much enlightened to seek God prayerfully and humbly, with an intelligent knowledge of his word. Not caring to know the ways of the Lord, their minds are all open to delusions, all ready to accept and believe a lie. They are willing to have the most unreasonable, most inconsistent falsehoods palmed off upon them as truth. -- Signs of the Times, February 19, 1894.

What is the Connection Between Babylon and the Beast?

1. The woman rides the beast (Revelation 17).

2. Babylon is characterized as having extraordinary pride (Revelation 18). The second temptation, which is the belief that we can sin with impunity, is virtually the boastful pride of life (1 John 2:16 cf. Luke 4:1-13).

3. Babylon is a counterfeit city. Presumption is a counterfeit faith.

            -Interesting that Shubert here cites Luke’s Temptation account for the Second Temptation, and, probably inadvertently, cites the whole section of the Three temptation (i.e., Luke 4:1-13, because as pointed out, and resolved, earlier Matthew and Luke have different temptations as the second one (Matt 4:5-7 vs. Luke 4:5-8). So which one is it Shubert? The answer actually is that it is Luke’s Temptation here which is the first attempt of (Matthew’s) Third Temptation (‘bowing to Satan to get back the kingdoms of the then known world’), which is the true “Second”, and later Fourth (Matt 4:8-10), Temptation which is correct. As stated before, that actually mirrors the similar but heightened Second (Rev 14:8) and “Fourth” (Rev 18:1-6ff) angel’s messages. Shubert manifestly thinks that the Second Temptation is ‘Satan trying to get Jesus’ to presumptuously jump of the Temple pinnacle and God will still protect Him’ (Matt 4:5-7), and so claims that this indicates a faith vs. presumption parallel and implication of the Second Angel’s message. The Biblical Truth however is, based on the exegetically fixed order and number of the Temptations, is that the parallel and implication instead is that Babylon teaches that one can variously bow to the world, especially in allowing truth to be mixed with error and this is, moreover, God’s approved way to be successful and “blessed”. That tenet was seen in both Historical/Papal Babylon, the Roman Catholic Church and then in its fully replicating successor (see SpM 1.4), Economic Babylon, which (Protestant) Capitalist America. (Later these two will join in a final (“Eighth Head”) Babylon as a Socio-Economic Global Power.)

            Not shockingly both Papal and Capitalist Babylon have thus amassed great wealth by this “harlotrous/sensuous living” (Rev 17:4) with Capitalistic Babylon having been much more successful (See what it loses in its downfall in Rev 18:11-20). Indeed the US especially, as well as the Capitalist West thinks that “God is (ever-)Blessing them” with total disregard of the fact that they have amassed their wealth according to selfish/sinful traits and ways that God actually Capitally considers as “abominations” (see Luke 12:15; 16:13; Ezek 16:48-50; Eph 5:3, 5; EW 266-269).

            So it is not, as Shubert misunderstood, ‘false faith presumptuous’ which is the parallel to the Second (and the “Fourth” Angel’s Message), but the knowing bowing and obeying of Satan by the lustful mixture of truth with error; the ways of the world, with God’s ways, -and moreover, all in “God’s explicit Name”, thus in/with “boastful/blasphemous (=slanderous)” claim that: ‘this is God’s Truth, Will, Ways, thus “Character”. Roman Catholicism and the United States of America have indeed been most deceptive, perfect fulfillments of this Church and Kingdom of God counterfeit. (Exod 20:7)

Babylon the Great Counterfeit

Theorem 2-2:

Babylon (the mother of the prostitutes of the beast) is the counterfeit of the city/people of God. Similarly, the foundation of Babylon consists of seven blasphemous kings. And these are a counterfeit of the twelve apostles.

 Proof:

Just note the obviously intended parallels:

-These are obvious and intended parallels indeed between the counterfeit, Babylon, the

Great City which reigns over the Kings of the Earth (Rev 17:18), and the genuine, God’s New Jerusalem. [Something which has also been noticed by Daniel Mesa for his “Another Twin Cities” sermon.] They indeed share many parallel features, but the difference between these similarities lies in either, directly, the substance or the actual “foundation” upon which they are based. For Babylon, its “foundation” are the 7 heads-king(dom)-mountains which, as discussed in here, are, respectively, the historical chief/top ideologies-world orders-peak achievements of past world civilization and dominant kingdoms, namely from (1) Babylon, (2) Medo-Persia, (3) Greece, (4) Pagan Rome, (5) Papal Rome, (6) (Protestant) Capitalist, (7) Multinational Globalization. For the New Jerusalem it is based on the Historical Israel Kingdom (=Rev 12:1) and its Four Living Creatures Foundation.

            Telling enough such similarities are seen between what the United States of America have been at the forefront of Politico-Societally doing/achieving as a Nation (turned Superpower) and what the present endeavored, 7-Horn|7-Eyes/Spirits, Little Lamb (Rev 5:6), New Jerusalem Kingdom will Biblically do. See here. People may knee-jerkly balk at the transpired fact that many of these organizational structures are similar, (and in that case many should similarly balk at the Organization of the SDA Church which likewise mirrors the structure of the U.S. government with a Constitution, By-Laws, “Congressional” Committee Representation, Administrative Officers, etc), but the fact is that in many of such societal order structuring, it was God Himself who in OT Israel had established them. The NJK follows both that OT Law template as well as what is later provided in furthering Testimonies for New Covenant Israel, such as in the books of Ezekiel and Isaiah, and of course, what is stated in the New Testament, particularly in the prophecies of Revelation.

            So in my NJK Project’s case, it is not “copying the United States”, but really, as these things mostly come from what God had already stated in the Bible, and allowing the trial and errors of modern day Babylon, the United States, to also serve as a guide, it is instead following God’s own original template. And the key, all-differentiating feature lies in the root Foundation of the two “Great vs. Holy Cities”. For the NJK Project it is Biblical Truth from God’s Israel Kingdom Religious Economy (12 Foundation (Rev 21:14a)), now projected and seen in its New Covenant Context, as was preached by the founding Apostolic Church (12 Walls (Rev 21:14b).

            So as Shubert points out, but really, applicationally-none-the-wiser, in this “Theorem”, the key difference between these two rival cities is indeed in the composition and nature of their foundation, and the reason why is, as stated above because Babylon has evolutionarily built itself up on the ideologies of leading men over the years, which ultimately is just like Babylon was literally (~“democratically”) built upon “waters” (Rev 17:1, 15), -which proved to crucially be its “weakest point/link” Rev 16:12); while God’s NJK’s is/has instead directly built on Biblical Foundations (instead of “waters/peoples”) and erected Biblical Securing Protective Walls (cf. Rev 21:8, 27,) that God Himself has laid and built. And with stronger and better “foundations” and “walls”, this Kingdom of God

more details on the Rev 17 statements made here. If anything is stated on this here, I’ll merely summarize those more detailed points here.

And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues, came and spoke with me, saying, "Come here, I shall show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." (21:9)

-The bride/wife of the Lamb which then resembles a (Capital) City is Christ’s Church

(Militant) when it will have “overcome”, and thus been perfected, and, through the sealed 144,000 (=Rev 19:7-9, literally been “transformed”, into the Church Triumphant. (Rev 3:12; LDE 61.2-62.2)

"The great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of immorality." (17:1,2)

-The fact that John who already is “in the Spirit” while in this uninterrupted Revelation

vision (Rev 1:10a), is said to be in the Spirit here, shows how God is deliberately transporting him to another specific place and time. Thus “wilderness” refers back to the place of Rev 12:6, 14 and then at its end in 1798; the “great and high mountain” refers back to what God had foundational set up in the Second Trumpet blast (Rev 8:8-9), which is related to Daniel’s great mountain in Dan 2:34-35; 45; =Ezek 40:2), which all lays the territorial foundation of the 144,000/Church Triumphant’s New Jerusalem Kingdom (See commenting details in here at the ‘Second Series & Trumpet, Rev 8:8' section).

            -Babylon is “based  upon” (=“sitting”) the “sinful” (=“scarlet” (Isa 1:18)) characteristics|traits of a world “kingdom” (=“beast”: Rome|U.S.)

God’s Holy City, =the “Kingdom of God”, is “born, (thus effectively “borne”) from

above” (John 3:3ff); thus: in, and by, God’s Spirit (=Zech 4:6|Rev 11:4)

"Having the glory of God." (21:11)

-Fully contains, and thus most naturally reflects, God’s Character; -which is tangibly seen

in God’s People in their True/Christ’s Righteousness. On the other hand, the harlotrous woman is clothed in its own version of righteousness which involves the mixing of wealth (=“purple”) and sin (=“scarlet”).

"Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper." (21:11)

-Up to this point, Shubert’s “obvious” paralleling has been correct, and these have been

quite straightforward to perceive. But next is when it starts to get a bit tricky in certain places for Shubert, manifestly through a lack of having understood the key symbolism here. I’ll be presenting the actual/accurate parallels and also why, where applicable.

"In her hand a gold cup." (17:4)

-Interesting that God will likewise/fittingly prepare a ‘“cup” of His own brew/wine’

(which is Pure, Biblical Truth) to destroy Babylon (Rev 14:10; 17:19) and, as detailed here, “gold” representing “(tested) faith which works by love” (1 Pet 1:6-7; 1 Cor 3:9-15; COL 158.2; 2T 36, 37; 4T 88.2), God is here showing, as seen from those Biblical statements that it is: ‘His Full Loving and Unselfish ways, which leads to all kinds of other “precious” traits that will, through “passionate” (Gr. “thumos” #2372 -a.k.a. “wrathful”) (Rev 14:10; 16:19) regard for only upholding truth, match Babylon’s own ‘“passion” for her immorality’ (Rev 14:8; 18:3), produce the alienation (Rev 18:9) and downfall of Babylon. (Rev 19:15)

            So Babylon “gold” exterior for that cup is to deceive others to think that what is inside of it will provide, Religiously, Biblical faith and love, and Materially, wealth.

A description of the New Jerusalem. (21:12-21)

-Here the description detail the foundational qualities of God’s Church Triumphant City-

Kingdom entity, including the measuring of it to see if it concords with God’s Enduring Biblical specifications (See Ezek 40:3ff; 43:10-12ff||Rev 11:1ff||Rev 21:15-17), (all indeed deliberatedly reflected during the planning of the (fulfilling) NJK Project), and on top of physical features, these include characteristic features in the precious stone material of the twelve foundation (Rev 21:19-20) which are based on the jewels which were on the vestment of Israel’s High Priest. (Exod 28:15-21), and which is thus indicative that God expects His religious Economy to be a integral and foundation part of His New Jerusalem City-Kingdom.

"Babylon has been a golden cup." Jer. 51:7

"And the city was pure gold." (21:18)

-I don’t see the Shubert’s hermeneutic justification for suddenly ‘breaking contextual

rank’ and appealing to the OT account of Babylon to find a parallel for Rev 21:18. The NT account actually says in the above Rev 17:4 that Spiritual Babylon was going to “have a gold cup”, rather than “be a cup”. And this difference can be see in the fact that in the, especially ultimate/Eschatological, Spiritual fulfillment of Babylon, as seen in the Roman Catholic Church’s (Religious) Empire and the present American (Economic) Empire, other nations had/have joined those Spiritual Babylon by merely “drinking” of their intoxicating teachings/tenets/beliefs/policies. (Rev 17:2, 18:3, 9). So unlike Historical Babylon which imposed itself on other kingdoms by taking them over physically/politically (=“being a gold cup”); Spiritual Babylon achieved/achieves such Imperial reach by targeting the people in those kingdoms. So e.g., France and Britain used to allow the Roman Catholic Church to be the State Religion while they had their distinct Political identity; and today the U.S. has spread its Social and Economic Capitalistic views throughout most of the world, including “Communist” China, but all of these other ascribing Countries have retained their distinct political identity.

            So Shubert OT parallel is indeed unjustified here, and thus, critically, interpretation/understanding-wise, erroneous. The real Babylon parallel is thus with Rev 17:4 statement and contrastingly further shows that, unlike Babylon, God’s Holy City will not need to be “passing” its even good wine teachings to other nations (Luke 5:37-38), its “witnessing” will instead be in the fact that it, itself is made up of that pure gold. And so its “wine” will be in what it does within that ‘gold city-container’. And that is what finishes the work (Matt 24:14). It indeed is futile to ‘pour the “new wine” of what the Holy City will do (see here and here) into other nations who are not built up and organized to do this as this will only cause the to break up. And therein is how God will destroy these other Babylonian entities. They are doomed if they don’t, inherently honor, and emulate His Holy City (Rev 21:24-26|Isa |Zech 14:16-19), but they are also doomed if they aim to do it while retaining their defective shells and structures. (contra. Rev 21:22-23) A complete reversal of how countries today have difficulty thriving in this Babylon (U.S.) dominated world if they do not ascribe to and emulate the sinful socio-economic ways of the U.S. God will indeed turn the tables then and the only survival solution for Babylon and its daughters then will be in total and genuine, rebuilding emulation of God’s New Jerusalem. (cf. Isa 66:20-21/Rev 21:27)

"A gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her immorality." (17:4)

"And nothing unclean and no one who practices abominations and lying, shall ever come into it (the New Jerusalem), b-ut only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life." (21:27)

-Indeed, as stated above, the NJ will be “free” of these restraining things. (John 8:31-32).

Completely diametrically opposed to the Satan-echoing, sin-condoning and utilizing, “freedom” that Babylon (=the U.S.) had been spreading throughout the world.

            I just had a related thought, as seen in the OT with Israel, if/when God actually has a truly righteous nation on this earth, will they even ever need to engage in the subversivity of present day nations such as deceptions for espionage or even war, for God can instead supernaturally/“prophetically” reveal the threatening secrets from their enemies (see e.g. 2 Kgs 6:8-12; Matt 2:13) or produce something natural that pre-emptively defeats an enemy, indeed as he would have fully done for Israel in their conquest of Canaan ((Exod 23:28); and was only partly done in the conquest of Jericho (Jos 6:1ff; 20-21; Deut 7:20; 24:12)), which would have resulted in them never becoming, because of the warring aggression way in which they later had to used as God could not otherwise fight for them anymore, an ever present existential threat to the surrounding nations leading to all kinds of problems throughout their history.

"And upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, 'BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.'" (17:5)

"It had a great high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel." (21:12)

-Babylon sends harlots into the world, the Holy City’s “interaction point” (=gates) with

the world is in 12 Tribes (see Rev 7:4-8), where only those in the world who share these same foundational characters in God’s Israel. (Gen 49), can ever begin to be admitted within its kingdom, passing through its “border check point” gates (Rev 7:9-12) wherein they will be sanctified (during a Millennium Age) as needed (Rev 7:13-17).

            It is interesting that it is the Apostles (=the “sent out ones”) who are in the Holy City associated with the “establishing” foundations (Rev 21:14), while the 12 Tribes of Israel are associated with the more transiency-related gates. (Rev 21:12). That is the exact converse of what took place in Israel History where it was, in the NT, the Apostles who were sent out throughout the world to interact with people to build up Christ Kingdom (Matt 28:19-20, Acts 1:8), but in the OT, Israel was actually never so commissioned to go and make converts from other nations. Their glorious existence alone was to influence peoples and nations throughout the world (Isa 60:1-3ff) which they had been strategically place in the virtual/effective “center of” (Ezek 5:5).

"And on them (twelve foundation stones) were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." (21:14)

-That parallel point drawing from Rev 13 instead of Rev 17 is actually repetitious, but it

is significant to note why in Rev 13:1 these blasphemous names are on the 7 heads of that beast, while in Rev 17:5 these names are written actually in the “forehead” of the harlotrous woman herself (=Jer 3:3) and alone. That is because the ultimate, Eschatological manifestation of Babylon (Rev 17) would, unlike its Historical manifestation (Rev 13:1-10), seat itself upon a secular power (=beast) which had built itself up by adopting, without changing, the 7 major worldly ideologies of past World Order attempts. The beast of Rev 13 is not really a woman riding a beast, but had become that beast, by taking over the realm and power of the (Western) Roman Empire. And so she (the Church) and perfectly asssimilated herself with the state through which it was ruling in/over the world. It thus had literally lobotomize the 7 Heads that it “inherited” in this national takeover, as indeed seen by how the Historical Roman Catholic Church completely replaced Roman Empire structure and element entirely with Ecclesiastical ones, or if not, with baptized-pagan ones.

            So there actually is not link between the Historical Babylon (Rev 13:1-10) and the ultimate Eschatological Babylon, for when it will have reached the fulfillment of that final form, it is the Second Beast which will accommodate it through merely an image (Rev 13:14-16), but it will not actually allow the Catholic Church to integrally take it over Politically, as the Church had done to the Roman Empire in History.

The Lord through the prophet Isaiah said: "Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the Holy city" (Isaiah 52:1). "O afflicted one, storm-tossed, and not comforted, Behold, I will set your stones in antimony, and your foundations I will lay in sapphires. Moreover, I will make your battlements of rubies, and your gates of crystal, and your entire wall of precious stones" (Isaiah 54:11,12).

-That is indeed, and merely, an OT prophecy of God’s Triumphant Zion, being used as a

background in Revelation depiction of that Church Triumphant.

The Second Angel's Message

Revelation 14

8 And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality."

-So in summary, Shubert’s attempt to present this message according to his template

axioms and theorems does not accurately or actually bring out the full Biblical message here. Several truth points and insights are brought forth, but as seen in the discussions above, there are crucial deficiencies and errors which actually end up straying off God’s straight and narrow path. I.e., not knowing the path to take to get somewhere, is just as detrimental as knowingly following the wrong path. And that “not knowing the path, and also destination” here was the pivotal theme in another “WOE” dream given to Shubert (see here) where he even comes into contact and interaction with God’s Church Triumphant but just can’t perceive this opportunity.

            So with Shubert’s shoddy foundation setting in the First and Second Angel Messages above, where his foundation is both not set and full of gaping cavities, it is no wonder that is ensuing Third Angel Message attempt is, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, structurally unstable and tangibly crooked. Again Satan main method of deception is mixing in enough obvious and even insightful truth all to contain his, even minority content, lethal deception dose.

The Third Demon's Message

-Now it is here that Shubert’s view fully blooms and self-exposes itself as a sly-

deception. I would merely say that this is a sequitur consequence of his various deficiencies in his above claims upon the First and Second Angel Messages, but (a) given the way that his Three Angels Message’s view is, as already discussed above, contrary to the SOP understanding, compartmentalized, and (b) comparatively seeing how the prior two messages are more Biblical than this Third one, this Third one is indeed, pun-intended a “beast” unto itself.

The spirit seen coming out of the false prophet is the spirit of the false prophet.

-As already discussed before when this obvious, and exegetically-speaking, circular

statement, the Bible instead presents that when the ‘unclean spirit’ will come out of the mouth of also the false prophet, it will not be its own spirit, but, exactly like the other two, that of a “frog”. So the false prophet then will not be talking as it had been. This exegetically and hermeneutically involves that what is then said in the Rev 16:13-14 will actually be radically different than what this false prophet had priorly been saying. Same thing for each of the other two entities here. Case in point, when that First beast “speaks” historically, prior to its final, Sixth Plague “Eighth Head” transformation, it then does speak what is on its mind (Rev 17:5), namely ‘words of Divine-ward arrogance and blasphemies/slander’ (=Rev 13:5-6 (=Dan 7:8, 11, 20, 25)). Similarly in the Eschatological manifestation of that Rev 17 Babylon, (=the United States), it actually speaks what it on its mind (Rev 17:5) but much less explicitly... indeed “deceptively” like ‘a serpent which really is a dragon and Satan’ (Rev 12:9; 13:11b), thus like Rev 12:15-16 = Rev 13:14, 17).

            So by the Sixth Plague, there will be a drastic and complete change from any prior explicit anti-God, anti-benevolence, but to the careful Bible student and worker of Christ’s Full/True Righteousness, it will still be accurately seen as unrighteous (LDE 169.4-170.2; EW 273.2=Rev 19:8), speech.

            Indeed the real goal is to, in that Sixth Plague Era, rally the floundering, adjudged Mark of the Beast Camp. (=LDE 164.1) The message then will necessarily be very, very similar to God’s Truth, but it will still involve elements of false righteousness which totally discredit it. So Shubert looking to present “anti-God” speech from any of those three entities as the precursor, and even preview of what the three demonic spirits will be preaching then is substantively erroneous.*

* (Studying out the entire context of that Sixth Plague, which are all of the Sixth Era events (i.e., the Sixth Church, Seal, Trumpet, Thunder), which will also have contemporary influences and application (a multi-applicational concept that is anathema to Shubert’s, (really, merely aspirational, [i.e., he does not really follow this hermeneutic, and also can’t account for the First Century A.D. start of his “Third Scenario” (Rev 12:1-12ff)]), strictly sequential/linear view) helps to properly grasp what takes place in that Har-Mageddon Battle of the Sixth Plague.)

           

            The most ironic thing here, which actually is fully in line with the many “double-entente”  “WOE” revelations that God has been warningly giving to Eugene Shubert, -which he naturally “understands/“believe”/interprets one assumed “supporting” way, but really actually have another “warning” message for him, is that Shubert’s Third Angel view, following and echoing his, non-coincidentally, Thomas Paine-like pagan “sources”, “luminaries” and “experts”, is that the problem and solution message that he himself is preaching for this Third Angel message, is that counterfeit Third Angel, deceiving “Angel of Light” demonic message. It actually contain some truth/light, but just enough to detract from the actual, actually much more urgent, issue as well as, as crucially vital to the witness of the Three Angels message, the actual solutions that will effectively, efficiently and lastingly resolve these issue.

            Indeed, with the Fourth Angel Loud Cry being paramountly the “Loud Voice of the Third” message (e.g., LDE 186.4-5), and its great glory being effectuated in the Christlike character that God’s True People then will be manifesting then, it take much more than mere proclamation to cause this message to triumph. It with take a tangible implementation of that message amongst the people. That is why EGW was shown that it would involve the literal miraculous works of God’s people (e.g., LDE 202.3-203.2), -yet only in regards to what they aren’t “naturally” capable of doing of, collectively, themselves (see this post). And it is to that “beyond-mere-preaching”, tangible manifestation from God’s people that the demonic influence comes by the Sixth Plague to correspondingly “empower” the unrighteous (=EW 59.2; which objectively sealed their already adjudged, pre-First Plague, closed probation. = 2 Thess 2:9-11). Indeed as the Bible goes on to self-explain about those demonic spirits:

‘they are like frogs “for they are spirits of demons, performing signs [=miracles (John 2:11)], which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.”’ (Rev 16:13b-14)

The sign of this spirit is a vision of world control.

-It rather seems to me from straightforwardly reading and terminology logic in Rev

13:12-14 that the False Prophet (=Second Beast)’s aim is, like a true “prophet of...” uplift what it considers to be its god. And at that stage in prophetic development, that will be a recognition of the First Beast because its ‘fatal wound had been healed’ (Rev 13:12) As the comprehensive study here on Rev 17's Babylon details, (-with “the Mother Harlot” at that Eschatological time being that ‘Second Beast exercising all of the authority of that First Beast’ (Rev 13:2b=SpM 1.4), at that final gasp time for the Mark of the Beast camp, the U.S. will be uplifting the healed first beast by letting it lead the way in now works to be benevolent towards humanity in need. The U.S. will itself demonstrate the “power” of that tenet by tangibly implementing the desires of that First Beast and thus be performing seemingly God-approved signs to deceive the world into also following that New World Ordering benevolent way. The way that the U.S. will be empowering this “image to the first beast” which indeed will then make it seem that the Catholic Church has regained its prior global influence and dominance, will be through its Capitalistic Economic ways, thus throw Philanthro-Capitalism. And that will be that supernatural, Angel of Light deception, with the actual “signs” of it already being in the world with the U.S. increasing, socio-economically necessary socialistic leanings, and the Catholic Church, under the present, new-course charting leadership of Pope Francis, explicitly, religiously, calling for increased care and work towards those in need. The deception is not in them calling for or doing those godly things in themselves, but in the still selfish means by which they say this should be done, which falls way short of God’s actual ideal. (E.g., DA 20.1-21.3)

            So Shubert’s claim that the sign of the false prophet is “world control” is, right off the bat, skewedly off the mark, and as it is furthered, it is ultimately seen just how divergent from the Truth it is. The false prophet will also be transformed into an entity that seems to be in full harmony with what Christ expects in His Gospel, but still fall short, pointedly in his “least of these” expectation. (Matt 25:45). And recursively here is the other deception in any message which refuses to fully heed what is implicated in that stipulation by Christ, as seen in Shubert’s view. His “least of these” attempt stop short on focusing on who actually are, and most urgently so, these “least of these”, as well as echoing a resolution which will neither work or be lasting. As the saying goes, ‘to get things done right, you have to do it yourself’.

            Indeed Satan ensnaringly does not care that people to some good...as long as they do not do all of what God expects (e.g., 1 Sam 15:20-23, 32-33; Deut 20:16-18|Jos 16:10; 17:13; Jdg 1:27-33; etc; 1 Kgs 15:14; 22:43; 2 Kgs 12:2-3; 14:3-4; etc) and/or how God expects it to be done (e.g., 2 Sam 6:5-8). Hence Satan “allowance” of the keeping of all of the commandments except the Sabbath, or the Sabbath on the Seventh Day. That is indeed integral to the subtle “Thomas Paine deception” (EW 263-266). And most tellingly, as Shubert blasphemously stated here from the circular reasoning of his false view of the Third Angel’s message, Shubert claims, contra. God’s own direct statement, that ‘the Seventh-day Sabbath is not part of the Third Angel’s Message.’

By axiom 1, the false prophet epitomizes the lust of the eyes (1 John 2:16 cf. Luke 4:1-13) and is characterized magnificently as the veritable embodiment of yielding to the third temptation to an unprecedented degree.

-I have seen sermons validly posit how the three elements of temptation in 1 John 2:16

when each found in one of the 3 types of Christ’s wilderness temptations. Namely:

(1) Lust of the flesh = Temptation #1 - ‘Bread for hunger’ (Matt 4:3-4|Luke 4:3-4)

(2) Lust of the Eyes = #2 & #4 - ‘Obtaining World’ (Luke 4:5-8 & Luke 4:13+Matt 4:8-11)

(3) Boastful Pride of Life = #3 - ‘Be “religiously” presumptuous’ (Matt 4:5-7|Luke 4:9-12)

            But for some reason, though Shubert claims a similar parallel, all he has claimed in each of those citings by him is “the lust of the eyes)...Moreover he again here cites all of the temptations, from also only Luke’s account, which, with its 1-3-2 order, is actually not at all in line with the Matthew 1-2-3 order that his views claim parallels the Three Angel’s messages. So that, at the very least was not precisely substantively thought through.

            And I rather see, as it is the Third Temptation which is at issue here, that the false prophet rather has a “religiously presumptuous boastful pride of life”, which is indeed see in the US mindlessly/mantraically/vacuously, boastfully claiming that ‘God is materially “Blessing” it irrespective of what it may unbiblical things its advocates and does, as they are God’s ideal for life on this Earth.’

In every age of the world, there has been an elite class that has cherished the same unchanging, long-lived spirit. Adam Smith understood this spirit back in 1776. He called it "the vile maxim of the masters of mankind" and summed up this vile maxim as "All for ourselves, and nothing for other people."

-This is where Shubert and his false Third Angel view begin to show its true colors: in

terms of (1) Hermeneutics, (2) Theology, (3) Spirituality and (4) Practicality.

(1) Hermeneutics - Notice that Shubert first attempt to substantiate his view is from one of his “sources”, luminaries” and “experts”. He appeals to the Humanistic views of Adam Smith, thus inherently foundationally making this a “lack of democratic function” issue as Adam Smith’s concern and solution here to deal with these “masters of mankind” was his Chief “light”: the Invisible hand of a, moreover, self-interested, Democratic Free Market.

(2) Theology - So we are here to calibrate our understanding and interpretation of Bible prophecy from Adam Smith and not from God. That is the Thomas Paine deception effectuation as what Smith advocated, including democracy, is actually not God’s ideal for His people. That’s just American propaganda, all according to the dictates of Satan for Ordering the Universe. In a Democracy, it is the people who set the Laws, including the Supreme Law, the Constitution. In God’s Kingdom and for His people, as seen in the covenantal books of Exodus-Deuteronomy, rit is God who stipulates what the Supreme Law, if that kingdom is indeed to be God’s own Kingdom. So despite what most Americans staunchly believe, Christians are not here to endorse and advance the kingdom(s) of this world (John 18:36a), but the long-downtrodden and misrepresented Kingdom of God, His Zion.

            Indeed where at all is a proclamation of God’s Biblical/Gospel teachings in Shubert’s Third Angel message. His message here merely is the spurious one that God’s wants democracy and anything less/else is an abomination to Him which He will torment people Hell for (Rev 14:9-11). That is an heretical Theology...look back at what started this GC....it was Satan advocating pure democracy where God’s Creatures are a law unto themselves. What did God do? Did He even give Satan and his substantial followers, including the futures ones on this Earth a separate realm to freely exercise their Democratic choices...NO!! He kicked Satan out of Heaven...and when Satan was able to democratically gain a foothold on this planet, God condemned all those who went against His Law to death rather than sponsor their choice for living (Gen 3:22-24). And why is that, as variously stated here in discussion against the Character of God Proponents, which Shubert actually also opposes Theologically, even deeming it to be ‘Kellogg’s Pantheism’ (cf. here), but, as seen here, obviously not in its tangible practicality, it is all because God sponsoring the wasteful lives of selfishly living people detracts away from the abundant life that He lovingly wants to equally provide for all. That is what is at the core of this GC and thus this Final, Third Angel Warning of God to men...nothing, in any way less or else!!

            Tellingly enough, Shubert’s view that the truth of the Third Angel’s message is found outside of the Sabbath Truth is indeed equivalent to Kellogg’s “God is everywhere” spiritualistic pantheistic view. (=EW 263-266) That indeed is a “perfect completion of Kellogg’s heresy”.

(3) Spirituality - Shubert may claim and argue that since God has not such tangible/territorial temporal Kingdom, then America is the next best thing which must be upheld. Well the fact is that Jesus actually came and did set up God’s Kingdom within each of His professed believers (Luke 17:20-21). So at the very least, Christ’s True followers should be “endeavoring” to, themselves be that Kingdom in this world, by themselves putting into practice and effect what God fully expects of them.

(4) Practicality - And this is where the utter futility of what Shubert endorses and advocates here is seen as appealing to democracy and the Free Market, to even remedy any genuine problem that he may cite is useless as it will still involve people who are controlled by selfishness, covetousness and greed. These surely will not, as they are currently not, advocate for  laws/policies to, especially not, sacrificially save the lives of others, or certainly not acceleratedly better them to even a basic decency of living, but instead, if anything, they will advocate Capitalistic, themselves profiteering, solutions as seen in Globalization where the poorest  countries are effectively “hired” as slaves for the rich countries. Pure Democracy and Free Markets will surely not fix this as self-interest is its chief tenet. Case in point, Western people know as a fact that people are paid quite low wages, or work in slave conditions to produce goods for them...yet these goods unabatedly still fly off Western store shelves given their cheap prices. This more-than-enough, profiteering approach to “aiding” the poor is diametrically opposed to God’s ideal (e.g., Deut 15:1-11; Luke 3:10-14; 2 Cor 8:7-15|Exod 16:16-21; Matt 19:21). Millions suffer and die by that preferred Capitalistic approach.

            And do notice, as claimed here, that Shubert trumpets this exposition of his as the “true” and “complete” understanding of the Third Angel message. But no where does he speak towards, especially tangibly, addressing the real and present vital/critical needs in the world, such as helping the millions who are suffering and dying from: abortion; lack of clean/fresh water’ inadequate nutrition or insufficient food; the sick (beyond solely his AZT claim, -examined later); harmful poor sanitation; the grossly uneducated, or insufficiently uneducated; those living in hazardous conditions -just a minor natural disaster away from slaughtering catastrophe; the orphaned; etc.  When on truly love others as themselves (Matt 22:39), they readily recognize all people in such critical needs as their “neighbor” (Luke 10:29ff) and not just those who (would) fit within your Quasi-religious, Patriotic: ‘corporate takeover of government, pure democracy restoration agenda’. (=Luke 10:30-32ff). But so is the ways of selfish concerns of Capitalism...if you cannot profit in some way from what you do...then don’t do it at all.

            So Adam Smith, who is commonly credited for being the Father of Capitalism (and really, according to his view, Laissez-Faire Capitalism) is certainly not teaching the ways of Christ or the Kingdom of Christ....He is not ‘teaching in Heaven’ i.e., like an angel flying in midheaven proclaiming God’s Third Angel message. (Rev 14:6, 9). No wonder it is this Sabbatical message which separates God genuine (wheat) believers from the ‘plausible but false’ ones (darnel/“tare”) (EW 118.1), because when this message actually calls for its Sabbatical Sacrificing, these darnel professors come out from under its influence and light and whole-heartedly join the detracting Cross-less world.

            Shubert has literally, imitating Babylon, worshipfully bowed down to and followed a “black light” (Isa 8:20) and blasphemously called it God’s own glorious light, and just because they are doing a supposed, even single, (AZT) miracle. That is squarely the “Angel of Light” deception indeed. (cf. LDE 162.1-165.1)

Revelation 13

11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

-Most telling that Shubert cites one of his “sources” and “luminaries” Adam Smith before

he begin to delve into any Scripture. The converse should be true in actual “exegesis”. These “experts” quite manifestly, controllingly dictate how Shubert is going to interpret the Third Angel Message. His approach is an eisegetical one and thus why he indeed inceptively skews right off the right track for especially this (most crucial) Message.

There is only one world superpower at the present time. If the Second Coming is near at hand, then this power must be our two-horned corporate state, the currently existing fusion of mega corporations (the Fortune 500) and government as described in the propaganda model of Edward Herman and Noam Chomsky.

-Wow that is just subjective, reverse-interpreting, eisegesis, akin to how Futurist-

Dispensationalist circularly interpret Bible prophecy according to transpiring headlines. As “on point” from even an SDA perspective, as such a claim may seem and sound, there actually is nothing in the exegetical presentation of the Rev 13:11-18 which necessitate anything that Shubert claims here in order to fulfill that prophecy. Detailedly:

“There is only one world superpower at the present time.”

-The Second Beast does not have to be a Superpower to accomplish this end, just like

Satan, the “dragon” did not have to use force to get Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit. The Bible instead says that it is, just like the serpent, by ‘deceiving miracles’ that the Second Beast (Rev 13:14-15), which frankly could even be Democratic Canada, or any other such (by now democratic) countries which, similar to the U.S., arose in the once barren Western Hemisphere, such as Catholic Brazil, Mexico, Argentina etc, enthrals and thus convinces all others to obey its dictates. It is not at all by the force of arms. The “image of the First Beast” (and it is not Shubert’s later claimed (Zionist Israel)), is a joint agreement by the rest of the world and only after that common agreement borne out of spiritual deception, will “breath” be given to it making that 7 head and 10 horn image come to life (=Rev 17 Babylon under its revived (Rev 13:3) Eighth Head, (=now no longer being rejected by (Protestants) the “sword” of God’s word (Rev 13:14b)). In current Geo-political structures, one can see the U.S. going before the distinct General Assembly organ of the United Nations and advocating that the world would be a better place if people adopted the Philanthropic Benevolence advocated by the (reformed) Papacy and the Roman Catholic Church, and probably with the U.S. then demonstrating how such movements have greatly aided them with their domestic problems. Then, upon a vote, most of the world approves this Global partnership treaty and then, and only then, after that approach has long been implemented, as subsequent meeting is called in now the Security Council of the UN, in order to pass economically-marginalizing resolutions against those who are not going along with this world order. And in that way, literally any (Western Hemisphere) country, however small, particularly if supernatural signs accompanying “signs” of powerful capability can make such a resolution to the world, have then adopt it, and also have it be collectively enforced.

“If the Second Coming is near at hand, then this power must be our two-horned...”

            -And obviously Shubert also goes by the belief that the Second Coming is for a set time. The Biblical fact is however that this “time” will begin to be set in motion whenever God’s People will actually have begun to actually, truly and forseeably resolutely Finish the Work. The Second Beast cannot only be limited to the U.S. as, as stated above, these prophetic elements/specification can also be met by several other “emerging”, even also majoritarily religious, countries. Indeed in a few years/decades, the US may have gone the way of Rome of old and Fall from its present superpower status due to the same uncontrollable; cancerous causes such as” exponential debt; unsustainable militaristic enforcement; egregious Imperialistic Foreign policies; having made too many surrounding/Barbarian “common” enemies; the independent rise of other nations; etc.

-No where in Biblical prophecy is there a requirement that this Second Beast be either

corporate-minded or controlled by corporations. That indeed is Shubert circularly believing that Herman and Chomsky are leading/indicative lights here. The issue or problem is not at all corporations taking over governments through powerful lobbies. As already stated earlier, that can only be the fruit of Capitalistic Democracies. Indeed even Pure Democracy is not the solution. People rather need to hear and heed God’s Sabbatical Message that calls them to individually want to help people in need (Isa 58).

            So this is all a tangential “crisis” and false prophecy/prophetic interpretation. It is plausible, through subjective, reverse-interpreting but quite ensnaringly false.

Developments within the United States over the years have often foreshadowed what is going to happen pretty soon in other industrial societies in the state capitalist world.

-Right, and the only “problem” that will occur is the removal of solely populace

democracy. Yet look at the utter uselessness of this claim and fight. Those corporations don’t get extra votes with their lobbying money, in fact, corporately, none at all. What they can only do is help finance the political campaign of their candidates and people then freely choose who they want to be elected, on a 1 person 1 vote basis. And if those elected people get into office under false pretenses, hiding their actual agenda, as, even secretly backed by a corporation, they could easily be democratically recalled from their office by the people who elected them and who they would be misrepresented. So these people can control how their elected representatives act and vote in office.

            So the real solution here, in a purely democratic realm, would be to get people to pay more attention to how their representative vote. But in the realm that matters for the Christian, the Biblical realm, the work should be towards trying to get people to care for the plight of the poor so that they can form their own charitable organizations to help people in need. But of course, Capitalistic people don’t do that unless they can profit from this.

            Again, the real and only solution is Christ’s Sabbatical message and not a call to “take back the government” as even if that would be done, there still would be no different or greater work being done to help the many people in vital needs in the world. Again Shubert only concerns himself with one “vital humanitarian” issue, the AZT claim, solely because that involves his controlling tenet of ‘corporations controlling the government’, and by his silence here, and to any mention in regards to others, he more transparently is saying that these others who do not come under that umbrella category pitched by his “luminaries” can just continue to suffer and die.

That world, in fact the whole world, is of course always changing, but there are significant continuities and they're worth bearing in mind. One continuity is that those who control the economic life of a country also tend to have overwhelming influence over state policy. That should be a truism taught in elementary school. It was formed succinctly by Adam Smith in words that I've quoted before but are important enough to repeat. He, speaking of Britain of course, wrote that the principle architects of policy are the owners of the society, in his day the merchants and manufacturers, "the masters of mankind" as he called them. And they insure that state policy serves their interest, however grievous the effect on others, including the domestic population, but primarily the victims of what he called their savage injustice abroad, and India was his prime example. That was early in the days of the destruction of India.

Today the masters of mankind are multinational corporations and financial institutions, but the lesson still applies and it helps explain why the state-corporate complex is indeed a threat to freedom and in fact even survival. By now there are important elaborations of Smith's truism applied to the modern world. The most significant and sophisticated version that I know is by political economist Thomas Ferguson, what he calls his investment theory of politics which in brief, simplified, simply views U.S. elections as occasions in which the coalitions of private investors coalesce to invest to control the state. It turns out to be a thesis of quite predictive success over more than a century as he shows. -- Noam Chomsky, The State-Corporate Complex: A Threat to Freedom and Survival  [4], [5].

Subversion of democracy by concentrations of private power is, of course, familiar: mainstream commentators casually observe that "business is in complete control of the machinery of government" (Robert Reich), echoing Woodrow Wilson's observation, days before he took office, that "the masters of the government of the United States are the combined capitalists and manufacturers of the United States." -- Noam Chomsky, Failed States, pp. 205-206.

            -This bloc of quotes from his “luminaries” is the theological pivot in Shubert’s Third Angel view, on its surface it may seem to have made a most Biblical and simultaneously condemnatory point against a supposed grievous evil be done in the world, but when you get beyond all of the fluff, it indeed is a most insubstantive collection of tenets which neither address the actual issue at hand which may be doing such things, and certain does not begin to resolve it by what is called for in response. The incontrovertible fact is that these rich corporation, from rich democratic countries could not do, or have done anything to the populations domestic to them, or those abroad with the explicit or tacit carte-blanche by the people in their controlling countries, through their voted and maintain government representative. The key word mentioned above indeed is “influence”....That is all these corporations have. Again they do not even have a vote in government. All they do is suggest things and in the end it is the voting public that either electorally or non-impeachingly elect and green-light those suggestions.

            So all this talk may seem and sound nice, and even Biblical, but the fact is that it is the democratic populations where those corporations are located which just does not care what those corporations are doing, especially as they too benefit from these Capitalistic enterprises. E.g., outsourced work, to low paid workers in poor countries means cheaper goods from them. Or increased exports or business for a domestic company means more or sustained stable jobs for people. Literally everything that is blamed on ‘corporate influence in government’ can most factually be seen to fall squarely on the backs of the indifferent voting public. In a true democracy, corporate influence in government will never become a reality because any individual has the right to consult their representative. So the CEO of a company can legally do that lobbying all by himself and even if their influence is limited by campaign funding limits, he can easily rally other people in his company to do the same, hence, to actually save the time of representative: the “collective, corporate, even industry-wide coalition, “lobby”. A representative is seeking to do the public good, and so if it is convinced that a suggested policy idea from a person or group of people will be good for the public and nation, then it should be able to hear it. However that is all distinct from the ensuing general public voting or approval when it is decided and ratified which suggestion should be empowered.

            So this is all just a mega-dud in terms of trying to solve the wrongs that may be done to domestic or foreign peoples. As long as citizens in democratic country has their vote count equally as any other citizen, then the root, even cause of the effectuated problem will always be the people.

            So return the supposed removed “Freedom” to these people, and they soon enough will do, or allow, the same things to occur, because, in the wider “survival-of-the-richest” Capitalistic world, that is what is necessary for their own”survival”. It is only if the selfish heart of people is change that such things will not be allowed to take root in government through those people’s representative officials.

There is no doubt that our state-corporate complex is remarkably hypocritical and is not to be believed. [6], [7], [8], [9], [10], [11].

-Now here comes the conspiracy theory spin which circularly “validates” the above

baseless claims for ‘the people don’t know to do better because the  government is hypocritically lying to them.’

And in a truly democratic, Adam Smith Free-Market society, there would be not government policy that would have a say into how a corporation operates its business. And therein is the hampering conundrum because, as an example, if a company wanted to maximize its profit and outsource all of its jobs, it should be the domestic population which opposes such a move by allowing their “self-interest” to express their binding opinion on that decision. So the disapproving public would just refuse to buy that companies goods and that company would then have to retract that decision or else be forced out of business by that Free Market hand.

            Conversely some may claim that it is because government facilitate this outsourcing, through, e.g., tax breaks, that companies do such things. Well, nevermind the incontrovertible tacit approval of the democratic public in such government policy decisions, that company may then choose to completely relocate to another company, where, exclusively holding the patents for its product others would still have to purchase it from only them if they want it. And so the former domestic employees of that company would be the ones at a lost here because that relocation would deprive them of employment, yet, the rest of the public, who are “lawfully” (i.e., according to capitalistic “law”), are acting, as supposed to, according to their own interest would probably buy that imported product from that relocated company. And they surely would not approve the government’s raising of tariffs on that product. So in the end, even Adam Smith economical theory and model just does not solve the issue. People and corporation will always selfishly do what is best for them and in Capitalism, larger profit margins for a company usually translates into lower, or lowest as marketly allowed, retail prices for consumers. And so what is being presently done by corporations will just continue to be done, even if merely directly through the public...but who has the time to directly represent their intertwined economic interests in representative governments. So why not just let corporations pursue their own self-interest and effortlessly profit from that profiteering.

            Again what Shubert’s “light” decry and advocate are just two sides of the same Capitalist coin. No matter on which sides that coins fall, selfish self-interest will always rule the day.

-The “Dragon” is actually also a sly serpent (Rev 12:9), who like to have people believe

something which in itself may contain some truth (e.g., Gen 3:4, 22a), in order for them to actually swallow the much larger fatal lie. And here, in Eugene Shubert trying to make it seem that the problem of the world, indeed the problem that wrathfully enrages the Lamb (Rev 14:9-11|DA 825.4) is that ‘drug companies are deliberately killing people because of the government is controlled by the pharmaceutical industry’, and with that itself not actually being true, Shubert has managed to facilitate the shift from the actual cases of over 100,000,000 deliberate or indifferent knowing systematic deaths/killings in the world, at the direct or indirect hands of individuals who are doing nothing more than being most faithful to one of Shubert’s “luminaries”, Adam Smith and looking out for their Self-Interest in order to democratically regulate the Free Market. In Shubert, Satan has found a great mouthpiece to continue his attack on both people as well as the True Followers of Christ. (Rev 12:12, 15). Now that is the real/actual “evil”, indeed borne from Satan’s typical diversionary evil genius.

Prescription Drugs Injure, Kill 2-4 Million Annually

-Now here is an interesting claim which should literally set one’s hair on fire.  But it

should rightly be only if every single person who took these ‘prescription drugs that injure or kill’ all got injured or died...but they all don’t. In stated fact from that total of 48% , or ca. 150,000,000 Americans who are (monthly) taking prescription drugs, there were at most only 179,855 (annual) reports of serious injuries around 30,385-128,000 actual deaths. So clearly the issue is that not everyone reacts the same way to a drug treatment. So while there may be an issue of compatibility to the drug as infamously said in disclaimers at the end of drug advertisements, it seems to me that there already are mechanism in place where people can get medical assistance to avoid using a drug that has bad effects on them. Sometimes, as in organ transplant rejection, it really is a “trial and error” issue as no two bodies are in an exactly alike state to deal with a valid remedying drug. So the issue here is not prescription companies targeting people to kill them, but merely a relatively microscopic minority of ca. 0.01% (=“monthly” ratio) to, at the, even estimated highest, (also per “monthly” ratio) 0.11-0.22% (i.e., the 2-4 million annually) users who are experiencing comparatively unique, adverse reactions to that drug. But do count on conspiracists to necessarily blow things way out of portions.

            And here too you have the conundrum of self-interest vs. the public good. Would the general public of more than like at least 97.4% of users of such ‘drugs from which some people have been injured or died’ accept (i.e., Free Market Democratically) that the prices of their own drugs be raised so that pharmaceutical companies can do tailored research to meet the specific conditions of each patient they treat. I’m not a Capitalist, but I just don’t think they’ll agree to that.. Sooner or later, and some way or the other, when the “economics” become the paramount fact, this same “let the weak die”, Capitalist mentality will dictate the actions of these drug companies, producing, at least, the same results.

-The thing that immediately struck me about this claim of Shubert in his “supporting”

videos, is how dated these original, “substantiating” documentaries, (which Shubert tacitly confesses in here he is not sure if the claims/testimonies of those scientists are right), are. Same things goes for original information about this on the internet. The SDA document he cites is from 1990. Such original presentations on that issue most manifestly ends around the year 2000, and that is because, as presented in this documented article:

‘this, at first constructive, decade-long (1987-1997) HIV-AIDS debate, [along with its derived claim that AIDS is actually caused by the AZT drug], is, as an academic exercise and as a practical matter, over.’ (p. 6)

It also seems to me that any issue with AZT has long been fixed by the “triple cocktail” of

drugs approach where AZT is still used, but in lower dosage. But don’t let such up to date information/developments and facts get in the way of the conspiracist’s oblivious agenda. And it is always easy to make a case when one only aggregates one, moreover scientifically dated, side of the issue. So there is no fatual support for these claims that there, pointedly currently, is something evil or genoicidal being deliberately done by either the FDA or SDA’s (see here & here) in their treatment of HIV and AIDS in Africa.

            Relatedly here is a webpage which presents the also selfish and self-interest issues which may have contributed to not remedying the AZT issue much earlier, particularly in regards to treatment for the Third World. Indeed the “right thing” (=righteous) will never be done in this case as long as Free-Market Capitalism is the operational basis, as Shubert himself actually fundamentally endorses and advocates. As the saying goes: ‘You can’t have your (Democratic and Economic) “Freedom” [=Self-Interest] and Minority Government Interference and Regulation [~Morality] too’!

-Funny that is exactly what Shubert and his “Adam Smith” view result in. Ayn Rand’s

view is just the forthcoming and honest manifestation of Adam Smith tenet, which indeed was the controlling ruling view/practice in U.S. Socio-Economics until its smarting consequences in the Crash and Great Recession of the late-1920's and 1930's. So in Shubert’s advocating, Satan has just found a backdoor way to make this view appealing to pointedly SDA’s, indeed with a claim that this “taking back of Laissez-Faire America” is ‘God’s most solemn message/warning to the world.’ (=Satan’s covetousness snare: EW 266-269)

The first demon's message is that there is no judgment. There are no restraints. We are to serve ourselves and put ourselves first. Astonishingly, in the next video, it is revealed that Alan Greenspan, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, doesn't believe that fraud should be regulated:

-Take the U.S. Housing boom/bubble which led to the 2008 Great Recession when it

burst. Now what kind of honest, conscientious and serious consumer goes to a store an pick out items that they have not idea how they are going to end up checking out with. From observed experience, it seems that a serious house buyer will do, or ask/pay to be done, a full amortization schedule for a prospective mortgage and its interest rates to see if they will be able to afford that house. You can’t indifferently go “eyes wide shut” into such deal, moreover, in most cases, “NINJA” style i.e., No-Income-No-Job-or-Assets”, and really think that this is a feasible endeavor. It is just like knowingly buying illegal imitation, bootleg or stolen good on the street. You know, or should aim know what you are getting into. But this just Adam Smith “Self-Interest Model at work, as due when ascribed to. When both parties just don’t want to know how they risk other people’s money...there is not even a case of “fraud” to prosecute in such tacit mutual agreements: i.e. ‘I’ll believe you if you don’t verify if I can really afford this’. Like suppliers and dealers killing each other off in a drug deal disagreement, it effectively is good riddance on both sides...before they do any more damage to actually innocent people to this underworld affair.

Ironically, Mitt Romney received 47% of the popular vote and lives like a self-serving parasite:

-Well 47% is neither ironic, nor significant. It certainly was not the 47% than Romney

had spoken of that voted for him, and most likely not all against him. Some these 47% probably still voted Republican for other reasons, including a belief that it would be Republican policies that would change this situation of theirs. So that comment of Shubert is completely vacuous and not ‘“ironically” signifying’ of anything at all... except slapstick humor.

-Several exegetical and inspiration issues need to be taken into consideration before

making such an unqualified and wreckless claim, (which I see contributes to Shubert’s carte blanche endorsement of Cannabis as “a vegetable”, which is relatively less worse than his manifest blanket endorse of any drug here, “qualified” by this passage.

Succinctly said:

-Prov 31 is echoing the oracle/“burden” of the mother of a King Lemuel, so that is at least 3 times removed from true/attested Biblical inspiration. I.e., (1) King Lemuel was not a attested inspired Bible writer, and (2) was evidently not a king in Israel, so “at best” he was a “pagan”. (3) As was likely his, sequiturly, ‘royal mother in a pagan kingdom’. So that advice comes from a pagan origin.

-the word for “wine” can refer to unfermented or fermented wine

-Solomon himself spoke against the use of wine (Pro 20:1)

-“wine” is contrasted to “Strong drink” with wine recommended for those who’s life is bitter and/or is in poverty. As seen in Jesus’ miracle at Cana, wine (which was unfermented) is the drink of the rich, and for festal occassion. It was indeed a rare treat then. So that is why/how it would be comforting to the poor as they could not afford/enjoy such luxuries.

-The previous statements in Pro 31:4-5 shows that both wine and strong drink are not good to use..and there also “wine” may merely be “an unfermented luxury” which, as with any indulged riches or luxuries can result in a person no having any empathy for those in need (i.e., Pro 31:5b)

-“drugs” are indeed used in medicinal conditions, even if to merely bring physical relief, and in Bible times, that ‘Medicinal drug’ apparently was “strong drink” (1 Tim 5:23).

            So in terms of valid inspiration or exegesis, I see not support here for endorsing, especially the recreational use of drugs...for anybody. Indeed current demonstrations of such usage amongst especially the poor shows how devastating it is to their lives and only worsens and perpetuates their poverty and depressing condition.

            This issue of wine and strong drink is actually a quite involved one, see the more comprehensive study/book of Samuele Bacchiocchi “Wine in the Bible”, but it certainly does not begin lead into Shubert’s, more over, purported “Third Angel” issue with the War on Drugs, including Marijuana. That itself is another lie of Satan. Indeed, as a “nation of ministering priest”, God’s people today should do all to be most sober-minded (Lev 10:9; 2 Tim 4:5; 1 Pet 1:13; 4:7; 5:8 cf. Num 6:3)

Having long seen, as mentioned here and here, that the unnatural destructions at the WTC

Such “spiritual understandings is not something that the “naturally-minded” (1 Cor 2:6-16) Eugene Shubert can see...just as, e.g., the Jews did not see the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple as either a work of/from God nor a fulfillment of Christ’s prophecy (Luke 21:20-24).

Unanswered questions remain, such as which governments were manufacturing Nano-thermite in 2001 and what influences prevented a thorough background investigation on 9/11 of the security and maintenance personnel and management at Building 7 and the Twin Towers? And related to suspicious motives for war, why isn't George W. Bush being prosecuted for murder and allowed to plea-bargain so that we can learn something about the shadow government he was serving while President of the United States?

-Attempting to engaging in ‘disproving the (compounded) negative’ is really an exercise

(A) Conspiracy Theory: 9/11 Was Done by U.S. Government for Iraq War - Well if that were true, and such meticulous planning and precise “much more than less” covered up execution went into setting up a basis to attack Iraq the, why would Afghanistan instead immediately attacked first, moreover in a war that is still going on, and why was not the evidence of WMD similarly so skillfully implanted in Iraq particularly after the successful invasion when the US had plenty of covert opportunities to plant such evidence in Iraq.

(B) It is quite telling to me that Shubert paramountly wants George W. Bush to be prosecuted for murder merely so that a supposed shadow government can be unmasked, as if the U.S. government would not be able to keep secret what does not officially exist. And if there have not been free-lancing or conscientious whistle blowers then in regards this supposed shadow government, it is likely that all would equally keep “silence” about this shadow organization even if under oath, especially as their quite evidently is no documentary evidence of such a secret entity.

-Given how people, even SDA’s believe that Capitalism is a genuine and valid economic

system, the ability to either produce prosperity within it is itself seen as a sign, as seen in our current day, as will be the converse of producing prosperity through socialistic mixed economic means, repairing what purer Capitalism had damaged. And that is the ensnaring basis of the final deception where such socialistic means will be religiously advocated and shown to be quite powerful. So any “demonic” empowering here may merely have to be the main deluding one of Satan of mixing Truth with error, and thus advocating that it is acceptable to not fully obey God. And with Shubert actually preaching this exact same deception message with his ‘return to Constitutional, Adam Smith America’, as if that was God’s ideal, he is just the flip side of that false prophet coin for that Rev 17 beast. The other side of that coin are (other) deluded Protestants who also have the same message and call.

-The claims that Shubert makes purporting the supposed reasons why U.S./Western

Christians and (especially) Right Wing Government Administration so strongly support the State of Israel are laughably divorced from actual reality. Shubert’s claims are merely circularly supposed from his eisegetical ideology of what his “image of the beast” should, now, be. At first, up to      ca. 1947, America did not at all support the Creation of the State of Israel (See this historical page)...but since then, various U.S. national self-interest reasons have been presented to advance the U.S., and U.S.-led Western, support for Israel, from Presidents/Congressmen wanting to attract the home, Jewish vote, to democratic ideals, and strategic military advantages of having a fully secular-democratic state in the Middle East region. And on an individualistic basis, many of especially the Right Wing slant in U.S. Politic religiously believe that it is God’s will that the State of Israel exist. And these people, even certain SDA’s, do not, through such Futurist-Dispensationalist religious/prophetic views, see the Jewish Nations as (still) ‘being cursed by God’.

            But, as it quasi-controversially has been starkly seen with the present Barack Obama administration, the Zionistic aims of the contemporary/present Right Wing, Netanyahu Administration in Israel are, and quite publicly, not actually endorsed. But most of the above mentioned U.S. National self-interests are still allowed to produce a non-interfering U.S. foreign policy towards the Israel-Palestine issue.

            So Shubert’s claims of knowing “presumption” are actually not applicable as, particularly in the Religious realm, these people, including Westerners, believe that they are acting according to their Futurist-Dispensationalist “faith”, and for Left Wing governments, their impetus is merely civil and secular in nature. In fact, most Jews in Israel are merely cultural, agnostic, or even atheistic Jews. And, as I recently surprisingly, paradigm-shiftingly discovered here, it, at least now, actually is not as if Religious Jews “know” that Jesus is the Messiah but opt to reject him, but they mostly sincerely than not, actually don’t see a convincing proof that He fulfilled the OT requirements of the Messiah.

            Also I don’t at all see the contrived/eisegetical, subjective claim of Shubert of “miraculous” power being involved here to “fool” people into accepting Israel....it ultimately is all secular/civil just politics as usual where a Nation’s most easily obtainable self-interest is advanced and defended.

In this version of the Christian Gospel, the exploitation and abuse of other human beings is a good. ... And this global, heartless system of economic rationalism has morphed in the rhetoric of the Christian Right into a test of faith. The ideology it espouses is a radical evil, an ideology of death. It calls for wanton destruction, destruction of human beings, of the environment, of communities and neighborhoods, of labor unions, of a free press, of Iraqis, Palestinians or others in the Middle East who would deny us oil fields and hegemony, of federal regulatory agencies, social welfare programs, public education--in short, the destruction of all people and programs that stand in the way of a Christian America and its God-given right to dominate the rest of the planet. -For Chris Hedges to characterize U.S./Western/Right Wing actions in Israel and the

Middle East as a Gospel is actually, manifestly, deliberately hyperbolic. I.e., his conflating reactionary, mainly post-9/11 wars here. At best these Westerners ‘religiously, collectively, believe’ that: Freedom, Democracy, Christianity Israel must be defended at all cost against “Tyranny”, “Authoritarianism”, Islam and anti-Israel-ism. And though they do infringe on the rights and lives of others in the process, it actually is not out of a “Gospel policy” to do so, but just the indifferent consequence of their “pro-America and Israel” tenets and stance. So these are actually Sin of Omission rather than Sins of Commission, -yet which are still both evil, but different in regards to one’s calculated intent.

Theorem 3-1: Christian Zionists are defending the murderous Zionist regime with pride and absolute contemptuousness for their victims, in the same way that Medieval Catholics defended the papacy. [18]. Scripture identifies their mindset as worship:

-It is always easy to make such surface, seemingly plausible, “natural” claims, and

millions do this in trying to interpret Bible prophecies, but the actual proof is in the spiritual substance. The Medieval Beast was working to opposed God’s True people (Dan 7:25; 8:10-12, 23-25; 12:7| Rev 13:7)...are non-Christian Arabs and Muslims “spiritually likewise” God’s True people today...No. That does not mean that they should be oppressed or slaughter..it just means that this prophetic statement is not applicable to that world issue.

And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?" There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Revelation 13:3-6.

How is Zionism an image of the beast? The Greek word for image in Revelation 13:14 is the same Greek word that Christ used in reference to a coin that everyone knew had the likeness of Caesar on it, which Christ used to illustrate His point about rendering to Caesar what belongs to Caesar (Matthew 22:15-22, Mark 12:13-17, Luke 20:20-26). Consequently, the image of the beast must capture the most distinguishing feature of the beast.

Image. Gr. eikon, "a likeness," "an image." In 2 Cor. 4:4 and Col. 1:15 Christ is spoken of as the eikon of God. It is the purpose of the plan of salvation to transform man into the eikon of Christ. An eikon implies an archetype and in many respects is like its archetype.

-For Shubert’s archetype claims to be true, the U.S. would have to be, from the start,

using its propping up of Israel to physically oppress a people who are the True People of God, but it has not involved this as it “founding basis”. Moreover, the SOP is clear that this image of the beast will involves actions which seek to oppose God’s Law and Sabbath/Sabbatical Principles (LDE 227.3-228.3)...But of course Shubert foundationally believes that his views completely replace any SOP revelation. Hence he purely “naturalistic” and reverse-interpretational claims which are devoid of such guiding revelations. Indeed Shubert pompously touts his view here on such Third Angel issues as not involving the Sabbath at all.

An image to the first beast would be an organization functioning on much the same principles as that beast's organization. -- Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary, Vol 7. p. 821.

-...The SDABC certainly did not understand, nor mean, as Shubert does, that that “beast’s

organization” will not be seeking to affect God’s Law and Sabbath. Here is how the SDABC (PDF p.6635) went on to substantiate what it (Spiritually and SOP-echoingly) meant by that opening statement:

“Among the principles by which the first beast operated was the use of the secular arm to support religious institutions. In imitation the second beast will repudiate its principles of freedom. The church will prevail upon the state to enforce its dogmas. State and church will unite, and the result will be the loss of religious liberty and the persecution of dissenting minorities. Compare on Rev. 13:12; see GC 443–448.”

            Religious and Sabbath issues are at the center of the SDABC understanding. Tellingly enough, Shubert’s view is one which is instead seeking to establish U.S. Constitutional and Democratic ideals as the basis of Righteousness and tehn claim this to be God’s GC preoccupation. I.e., the GC will end merely because the U.S, has ceased to truly be Democratic country and not because of the anti-Sabbatical Laws that they will have, actually democratically passed and, also “democratically” enforced. And in Shubert’s diversionary view, it will only be those who are (still) opposed to the State of Israel who will suffer from this development.

The similarity between the Zionist State and the Vatican State is indisputable and clear. In Catholicism, salvation is as easy as praying the Rosary and buying indulgences. In Zionism, salvation is attained through the same mediocre level of works righteousness. The foundation of Catholicism is the freedom to sin with impunity. Zionists are blessed with unconditional salvation. These are remarkably similar concepts.

-The fundamental flaw here is that Zionism is not, by definition, an Anti-Christ power as

Catholicism, and also Protestant, doctrinal/practice emulations, religiously are. That will be the worship-revolving issues in the end. Revelation’s Second Beast and its Image will not be calling people, through, a Zionist Israel, to reject Jesus Christ like they do...Were they to ever make this call, they would instantly lose all of their Christian/Right Wing support. If, however, Zionistic Israel becomes also Christian, i.e., accept Jesus as their Messiah, and they actually will under the ‘overmastering/Angel of Light deception of Satan’ (see e.g., LDE 162.2-163.3), then will the Bible/SOP scenario be involved with Protestant America, and not Israel, leading the way in those religious issues. Diverting the attention of people from these Spiritual issues to “natural” ones instead is a sly deception of Satan being most seamlessly and easily done through Shubert’s own, egoistically-controlled, “naturally-minded thinking. (1 Cor 2:6-16)

Consequently, the Zionist State is a colossal monument to presumption. It is certainly more than an abominable image that has been set up with worldwide approval. [19]. Zionism is an institution that embodies on a national level the appalling unbiblical belief in the unmerited, unconditional salvation of the once favored Old Testament people of God, "once-saved, always-saved." That's a striking similarity to the trademark presumptuousness of the papacy.

-‘Zionism has worldwide approval”....obviously Shubert has been, manifestly obliviously

so, missing the various, and increasing, overwhelming global support for Palestinian statehood (e.g. this Nov. 2012, 94% UN General Assembly vote (cf. here)). It is only a majority and/or overriding vetoing in the UN Security Council which is preventing this global will from become a reality.

How is worshiping the character of the Zionist State the same as worshiping the papacy? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Flattery is praise and praise is worship. If we praise A that is imitating or praising B, then we are also praising B.

            -Right...the Bible does not need such equating to validate its Spiritual end time scenario. The Papacy itself will be directly worshipped by the world through its empowerment when the U.S. substantially assumes its authority position, and also doctrinal positions, as a moral/religious, enforcing power.

15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The image of the beast will get livelier and will call for the death of those who refuse to worship it.

-Right, but it won’t be for not accepting the State of, an especially non-Christian, Israel.

Theorem 3-2: Since the United States is masking all its current wars of conquest under the pretense of national security, and since the quintessence of terrorism is aggressive and/or belligerent opposition to the acts of genocide by the Zionist State of Israel [20], [21], [22], [23], then it's reasonable to conclude that we're not far from a State mandated loyalty oath to the abominable Zionist image.

-That’s all purely in distinct “natural” and political realms. There most crucially is

nothing Spiritual involved in such a scenario. Talk about rendering the “direct/express-ed” word of God completely void. (contra. Isa 55:8-11). I.e. what the Bible and SOP have already shown would be involved in wrapping up this Great Controversy.

If the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is already intimidating US citizens with threats of indefinite detention for the bogus crime of belligerent opposition to war, genocide and the ever increasing progress toward the eventual extermination of the Palestinians by the Zionist State of Israel [24], [25], [26], [27], [28], [29], then why can't there be a forthcoming law that forbids buying and selling for those who refuse to revere the Zionist State of Israel?

-There very well may be...(as if that legislative “anti-Israel outlawing” would actually

tangibly change anything amongst those who oppose Israel...it currently is a crime to support or tangibly advocate acts of “terrorism”)...but it will not be in any fulfullment of endtime Bible prophecies.

Clearly, Roman Catholicism and Zionism are unalterable institutions that are not based on truth but share a powerful instinct for self-preservation. Thus their foundational faith is that of eternal security. The nature of the false prophet is also unchangeable and evil since it is plainly evident that whenever its evil policies are exposed and challenged, it defends itself vociferously and, with a dragon's roar, it cites the doctrine of eternal national security. The following are signs of what must be fulfilled to a fantastic degree, in the very near future, for those who refuse to revere the appropriate image.

-Name me one institution, and even fundamentally so, Christianity, including God’s True

Remnant cause, which does not act in order to preserve itself...i.e., from enemies which want to eliminate them. That is certainly not the great and overarching, “archetype” evil that Shubert claims. What is evil are the ideologies that are, through any self-preservation, seeking to be upheld. And so it is these Spiritual issues which are to be focused on, as God’s True Remnant Cause aims to do as its own acts of self-preservation. And it is only when lawless acts are threatened or done against God’s True Cause that He self-defendingly authorizes force, even deadly force. Ironically enough, both the U.S. and Israel believe that they are justifiably acting, i.e., “terrorists want to bring down America” and “a Palestine State would warringly engage in eliminating the State of Israel”.

            So self-preservation itself is not the founding crux of the matter here, but rather the Truthfulness of the founding ideologies. Shubert’s claim that the foundational faith is “eternal security” is at best wildly circular...and at the very least propagandizedly exaggerate in that this principle is not what has led to the untruths of Catholicism or Zionism but rather their, especially selectively wrong understandings of various Scriptures and Prophecies.

-The trumping fact is that, in a democracy, the people could always act to put in place the

rights and laws that truly reflect what they want. So it they want more transparency, particularly in the light of such leaks, indeed as with the recent Secret Major NSA Surveillance Programs leaks, they could easily bindingly direct, or if necessary, recall, their (here informed and approving) representatives, even have the President impeached, and put people in their place who will pass abolishing and/or better transparency laws...but as this has not even begun to be a sustained outcry in the newly aware U.S. general population, then that proves that the people actually do not mind/oppose such secret programs. In fact, and contrary to John Pilger’s claim in 2010 in the video above [10:25ff], not even the previous U.S. Diplomatic Cable leaks have resulted, from people/democracies, in anything sustainedly, or even effectively/tangibly, different.

            So even Shubert’s fundamental “Adam Smith Revival” (LOL) to true Democracy, obviously would not change anything in this most emblematic of “government secrecy” situations. Again it’s all just “heat” and no “Light” from/in Shubert’s end time view; -both logically and especially Spiritually (Isa 8:20).

The Efforts of the Mark of the Beast Maker to Stupefy and Control

Unquestionably therefore, the false prophet wishes that we all become passive, apathetic and obedient. That's the ultimate meaning and purpose of why we are continually being propagandized and systematically urged, slowly but surely, to worship an inglorious image. The false prophet's aim is to make us willing conformists as it seeks to take over the world. The strategy of the false prophet is not difficult to ascertain. It is clearly revealed in Scripture that worshiping idols has a stupefying effect.

-Well as this “willingness” is obviously the knowing democratic case now, and no “law”

was need to “worship the State of Israel”, then Shubert’s view falls completely flat, pointedly in the fact that True Democracy would not make any difference here....but of course he evidently believes that the (effective) deceiving “miracle” (“=Rev 13:13-15”) that has led to such a passive and indifferent state were the U.S. government orchestrated 9/11 attacks all in order to instill a sense of terror..apparently so that people will be led to accept the State of Israel. Now this is indeed a Spiritually-vacuous loop, on top of being logically preposterous. It rather seems to me that 9/11 has, as intended, only made people of the world more prominently aware of the injustices and infringements being done to Palestinians and Middle East Muslims

-These cited and highlighted texts/statements do not prove that ‘Israel is the Revelation’s

Image of the Beast to be worshiped’ and thus are here, negatively, “proof texts”.

We Should Aspire to be Like Christ and Reject the Antichrist

-And “anti-Christ” is actually Christian..not Jewish, hence the source of their ability to

deceive.

To have the name of the beast means to have the same character as the beast. Names in Scripture express a character trait (Genesis 32:26-28).

-The number of that “name of the beast” is 666. (Rev 13:17-18). Not at all surprisingly,

Shubert’s view cannot show, as it is done in Biblical interpreation, that his number stems from the Roman ‘characterizing’ title of: Vicari Filei Dei (=“Vicar of the Son of God”) That is indeed the Divine wisdom which calibrates and confirms the believers prophetic understanding. So any interpretation which cannot account for that prophetic specific is fundamentally heretical. Unlike the actual (First) Beast, Israel will not be claiming to be ‘the (replacing) representative of Jesus Christ on Earth’.

To receive the mark of the beast means being complicit in thought or actions with all the demon-inspired world forces of oppression and darkness. It doesn't matter if what you advocate is sincere or not. The "mark of the beast" can be received either on the forehead or on the right hand (Revelation 13:16). The forehead represents the mind. The hand represents a person's actions. Those who venture beyond God's forbearance and choose to be willfully deceived or end up spurning the Spirit of truth get sealed with a mark on the forehead. However, those who realize that they are primarily conformists to power systems and choose to support monstrous evil out of cowardice and expediency get sealed with a mark on the right hand.

-Shubert’s claim of: “demon-inspired world forces of oppression and darkness” is not

what he claims it to be, particularly with Israel being his “image of the beast”.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

            -In that reproduced link on 666 above, Shubert reveals the depth of his deception in his Third Angel view. Through mere assumptions which actually substantively undermine the Divine origin and control of inspired revelations, He goes far-fetched in mythology to try to conjecture a “new” understanding of 666. It is most telling to me that his deceived view perfectly harmonizes with the Egypt religion deception that will actually be done during the Sixth Plague. (See in here at Rev 16:13ff). Shubert’s view indeed cannot account for the Biblical understanding of 666. He says it is the (summed) number of 36 demons (i.e., merely the sum of 1-36), while the Bible says that “wisdom” (i.e., from “advanced experience” in Spiritual matters) will be involved in calculating this ‘beast’s name’s number’ which the “number of a man” (Rev 13:17-18). SO Shubert’s claim here is again outrightly eisegetical, indeed indifferently being “forced” into the text with none of the specifications in the actual text match up to these claims.

The Third Angel's Message

Revelation 14

9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." 12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

With a loud voice we have been warned to not praise antichrist, the spirit of antichrist or any likeness of antichrist, and not be complicit in his crimes. The punishment for disobedience to this law of God will be most unpleasant. [30].

-Yes, but one has to make sure they actually know what that beast, his image and his

mark are....Shubert’s heretically spurious, literally, “smoke and mirrors”, Third Angel’s view is craftily misleading people into not being able to identify the actual object of God’s Controversy here. Through such selectively and outright rejection of the Bible and SOP, Shubert has become a mouthpiece of Satan, and indeed the: “prophet of Revelation’s False Prophet”, -“prophetically” calling people back to the foundational base teachings of Adam Smith, et al. which have come to develop in all of the evils we see in the world today. (=4T 384.3) Just two sides of the same Mark of the Beast coin!!

Past Results Often Reveal Future Performance

Ultimately, in their purest and simplest form, the messages of the three angels have a common denominator. Apparently, the endtime requires a warning that proclaims the necessity to be entirely dependent on God and being completely distrustful of everything else.

            -But Shubert’s view is actually to trust in self-interest and democracy and not God.

In the third temptation, Satan wanted Christ to possess the world but to compromise with evil in order to receive it: Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me."

-As discussed above, that was actually the nature of Christ’s Second and Fourth

Temptations.

Likewise, the spirit of the false prophet encourages us to love the world and tempts us with promises of worldly blessings if we would only demonstrate our willingness to compromise. Ludwig Muller, in Nazi Germany, had a keen intuition on the third demon's message. From his understanding, and out of his loyalty to his Fuehrer and love for the principles of Nazism, Muller sought to Nazify the words of Christ. (Adolf Hitler appointed Ludwig Muller as Germany's Reich Bishop of the Protestant Church). Clearly, Christ's way for us to inherit the earth requires meekness. The Nazi method was through propaganda, blind obedience and military aggression.

            -Shubert claims to be preaching against loving the “things of the world”, but by advocating self-interest and democracy as the solution, he is preaching for the “ways of the world” instead. And Ludwig Muller had no light in God’s actual Third Angel’s message. Ironically enough, like Hitler and his Nazi Regime, Shubert is also seeking to Christianize the most basic of sinful traits in men. Nothing but the pure, unadulterated Word of God, rightly interpreted will be presenting God’s actual Third Angel’s message.

Christ said, "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth" (Matthew 5:5). In his attempt to make a perfect German out of Jesus, Ludwig Muller, in his rewrite of Christ's Sermon on the Mount, replaced Christ's unalterable beatitude with "Blessed is the one who is a good comrade at all times. He will get on well in the world." [31].

-In his effort to make a perfect American out of Jesus, Eugene Shubert completely

removed the God-indicated Sabbath Truth (LS 95-96) from the Third Angel’s message and replaced it with American Constitutional Patriotism. He thus will most naturally also receive the plagues and hell fate which will befall on the Mark of the Beast Camp (=Rev 16:1-2ff; 22:18-19)

I think it's interesting that the agendas of the three major political parties in the United States fall under the heading of the dragon, beast, and false prophet. The Libertarian platform is primarily the ideology and adoration of Ayn Rand's self-centered philosophy.

-Shubert uphold Adam Smith self-interest tenets instead. Ayn Rand is merely the

‘“greater works” apostle’ (cf. John 14:12) of that false christ/messiah!!...All key parts of Satan’s Angel of Light deception which Shubert is the prophet of. So here is actually a typologically dragon-beast-false prophet matching up, respectively as: Satan-Smith|Rand-Shubert!! Indeed with Shubert himself directly or indirectly claiming that these views are squarely according to the Bible and SOP....Can’t “mince” that transpired straightforward reality.

The Democratic Party is infamous for being spineless and accommodating. Do a google search for Democrats + spineless and see that the search counts about 1,230,000 results. This is a new development. And it is easy to see why the incredibly spineless character of the Democratic Party angers many Americans. The political leaders of the largest political Party in the United States no longer fight for the middle class and are too easily cajoled into imitating and following the Republicans. So my second point is correct. The Democratic Party is just like the Master Assimilating Chameleon, the archetypal pope of prophecy. For a nice little illustration of this, note that there are loyal Catholics that are absolutely disgusted with the cowardice of Pope Benedict XVI to denounce the atrocities committed by Israel. [32]. One might think that the leader of 1.2 billion people should display greater courage. But how could any pope ever denounce a true image of himself? By all indications therefore, Benedict XVI is a marvelously authentic representative of the papal hierarchy--and the Democratic Party also--and thus obviously typifies the most exemplary citizen of the New World order.

-Only in Shubert’s skewed prophetic view, which hones in on Israel, could such claims

“circularly” begin to be self-validated. They are neither here, nor there and merely the liturgy of Shubert’s eisegetical expositions.

Republicans are frequently characterized as being both hypocritical and evil. So the three great evils of Revelation really do dominate the American political system.

-As the saying goes: Shubert has run from the rain right into the ocean.

What is especially interesting is that these three political powers, like the three personifications of evil, are beginning to consolidate. Mitt Romney, the Republican Presidential Candidate for 2012, named the ultra-right-wing Ayn Rand devotee, Paul Ryan, as his choice for Vice President.

            -Well, as discussed here, had that presidential duo acceded to U.S. power, prophecies of another kind would most likely, especially if these candidates had kept their various wild campaign promises, have unravelled...all resulting in the (Rev 18) downfall of America...but God’s people were not ready to fill in that vacuum and so that “wind” was also held back.
