will make you to be turned - Interesting development here. Manifestly the Gog Coalition had originally been pondering such an assault in their minds. But God who can read their minds, decided that it was best to fully tease this idea to concrete actions, all to enduringly purge such wishfulness amongst all/any of the belligerent enemies that His Rising and Triumphing Zion would otherwise surely produce. So God set out to make an example out of God, and literally pounced on their mere desire here and: ‘made them to be turned’, in the exegetical sense of ‘making them to change their mind, and indeed decide to attack Israel. Thus this was not something that the Gog Coalition was actually really keen on doing, -though they were surely seriously itching to do it, but/so God, incontrovertibly, ‘forced their arm’.
** See a (now Eschatologically superceded) Historicist interpretation/application of this prophetic section from Stephen Bohr here; -as well as here, then here, where on Rev 16:15, he can “naturally” (1 Cor 2:6-16), =‘anecdotally vs. exegetically’, thus only Historicistly premisely/contextualizingly “see/perceive” that this warning applies to the, (actually already long adjudged (=EW 54-56)), Seventh Series Laodicean Church (Rev 3:14-21), -(whose, -especially corporate, probation has indeed long closed, -given all of the Great Light they long already have had (LDE 59.3-60.2)), instead of, as almost verbatimly clear: the, just preceding, Fifth Series Reformatory (Christian) Church (Rev 3:1-6; =Ezek 11:14-25; =in the Northern Kingdom’s 10-Tribes of God's Israel (cf. Rev 7:5b-8)) as discussed in here at Rev 16:15.
